Description

Diminish eye strain while boosting productivity with Pomy – a Pomodoro-inspired app infused with the principles of the 20-20-20 rule endorsed by optometrists. Let Pomy guide you through focused work intervals and essential breaks:

1. Start the timer and dedicate 20 minutes to on-screen tasks
2. Take a 20-second break when prompted by the special break screen, and look at something 20 feet (6 meters) away

Psst! The timers are also customizable.

Pomy 2 features:
• Simple and minimalistic design
• Hassle-free default timer set by the 20-20-20 rule endorsed by optometrists
• Break reminder screen overlay (Yes, you can still escape the reminder if you have to.)
• Automatically stop the timer during screensaver/lock and restart upon wake/unlock
• Track every break minute
• Track every focus minute
• Last 14 days focus time statistics
• Customizable timers
• Save/load timer sets
• Long break timer (after set focuses)
• Scenic videos for the break screens

vampier5000 ,

the app still crashed on M1 Max

the app still crashed on MacBook Pro with M1 Max processor.
it just simply closed after you run the app even without the display going to screen saver mode!

Update!
The app is more stable now.
The automatically restart timer function after a long screen server is not resuming automatically!
it is resuming after coming back form a brief time in screen server mode.

Update #2
the app timer suddenly stops (gets canceled) after finishing the 20 min timer and does not show the message to take the 20 in brake!

Developer Response ,

Thank you again, Vampier5000. Can you try the latest release, 2.3.0? The break screen behavior has been rebuilt. It’s been heavily tested on a MacBook Pro with M1 Pro, and no issues have been reported by other users or from Apple’s reports, so I hope 2.3.0 works better for you!

However, if the issue persists, instead of relying on reviews, please contact me at www.vanejung.com/contact so I can assist and get more diagnostic details from you to provide fixes faster.
