I would have completely flunked and screwed up my beautiful new pool if it wasn’t for this app. I get reminders to get out and empty the skimmer basket, it tells me what to add to fix my problems (tip from locally owned pool store, regardless of calculations always start by adding 1/3 to 1/2 recommended doses), and this app lets you add partial doses and then reminds me to add the rest. That said, if you retest and the problem is fixed the reminder goes away. Also, tap the color cube on the right when entering the test results if you need a decimal, it took me two months to figure that out. I find the inventory storage somewhat helpful too, the app also tells me how much I’ve been using. This is a brand new concrete and pebble salt filtration pool so my ph problems will eventually subside, so I’ve been told, and I expect the reminders to adjust because I’ll be using less over time. This app takes all the worry and stress out of new pool management. I was overwhelmed when the pool company handed over control but this app has really educated me on how to handle. I may in like 5 years not need it beyond the reminders but I can’t think that far ahead.

Software helps you do as little or as much tracking as you want. I’m able to enter the water testing variables I want to track and set a minimum and maximum range for each. Pooli will calculate the amount of the chemicals I use, for me to add to the water. If I want, I can enter the inventory of how much of each chemical I have on hand. As I add it to the water, it reduces my inventory by the same amount, and will tell me when I need to order more. So it helps me manage the water quality with simple dose recommendations (I can use them, change them, or delete or delay them).It helps me keep track of my chemical inventory, and based upon how much I average using, gives me a 2-3 week heads up that I need to order more! Based upon my usage!If, I enter how much my chemicals cost, it’ll even give me an estimate of my average monthly expenses for them. I can enter periodic reminders… Shock the water, rinse the filters, deep clean the filters, change the UV Bulb annually, etc. so I don’t forget those infrequent details. As much, or as little as you want. Over the last two years, I’ve tried at least 5 other software programs. This one, to me, is the best combination of capabilities, developer adding new functionality, and ease of use. You can use it for free. I decided to pay the subscription to get the added functionality, and, to reward the developers to encourage them to continue with their upgrades to Pooli. Try it, I’m glad I did.

This is the most complete and flexible pool / spa management app I have tried to date. It allows customization of test parameters on a per pool / spa basis, tracks product inventory, tracks water additions to help understand evaporation loss versus potential leaks, sends reminders per a schedule that you can configure, and more. For subscribers it also has added features like an AI agent that reviews your logged results as well as your chemical additions. Based on the weather forecast it then predicts and suggests actions that may be needed over the coming week. Best of all the developers are open to feedback regarding bug fixes or features. One does not need to use the Pooli test strips in order to leverage this app. I use a Taylor K-2006 C SALT kit and enter my results manually. But I still subscribe for the added features.

One does not need to use the Pooli test strips in order to leverage this app. I use a Taylor K-2006 C SALT kit and enter my results manually. But I still subscribe for the added features.

Question/Suggestion:My only question/suggestion for Pooli (and it seems there is inconsistency across the industry on this) is the chlorine levels based on CYA. I really like to have that turned on, but even with it on, the numbers are just a little low based on the experts at Trouble Free Pool. I realize I can turn that off and set my own, but I like that it automatically calculates based on CYA, just with they were a little higher.Decided to try taking on my pool myself, and download a few apps, including this one. Overall, this one is by far the best so far. The Pool Math app by Trouble Free Pool is a good choice as well, but Pooli is completely free (thanks developer(s)) if you are doing your own tests and entering them yourself. The Trouble Free Pool website is also an awesome community, and I have been relying on that community a lot recently.Also, I don’t want to use the adjusted Alkalinity. I have that off, but it continue to shows the adjusted number and is putting recommendations and tasks based on the adjusted number.***Edit*** Developer is awesome. Responded to an email super fast (which I wasn’t sure a response would even come), and mentioned an adjustment for this would be coming. Thanks again! Super awesome.

Feeder Settings: Multiple feeders supported. Add new Installed Equipment from the Installed Equipment screen Fixes problem where pool edits were not persisting. More reliable local cache updates so pool edits stay in sync with the cloud after reconnecting. General improvements and stability fixes.
