This app is NOT a Netflix substitute of any kind - it's a Safari browser extension that enhances you Netflix experience.
Popcorn is a simple Safari extension that will show you IMDb, Metascore and Rotten Tomatoes ratings on Netflix. Just expand a movie or TV Show details to check the ratings. It doesn’t really get any easier than this!
Popcorn for Safari has no ads and doesn’t track you or collect your personal data. Aaand best of all, it’s free to use!
Safari 14 or later and an active Netflix subscription are required to use this extension. For a better compatibility, please check your Netflix profile language is set to English.

Does Not Work
Followed instructions and nothing happens with the extension. IMDB ratings do not appear.
One step setup
You need to click "allow" for netflix
in safari preferences->extentions->popcorn for safaru
nothing happens
downloaded it....nothing happens. I assume something was supposed to happen.

Hey there,
unfortunately, just downloading is not enough. You have to install the extension by opening the app first and then give extension the needed permissions in Safari browser. When browsing Netflix, just expand movie details to see the ratings. If you're unsure whether you did everything right, check out the installation walkthrough at https://popcornforsafari.com/about/
Also make sure your Netflix profile is set to English, as per instructions.
