Ratings and Reviews
Multiple figures & horizon/ground plane
Still use this tool today after all of these years. I would really love to see the ability to pose multiple figures in a scene along with the ability to see the ground plane and horizon line. It would really take the hassle out of trying to scour the internet for poss reference which can take up so much time. With more complex stuff like daz this is possible but it’s also very time consuming and nowhere near as streamlined as something like pose tool. I think it could be very game changing if these abilities are integrated.
I also would like to see something that better shows the measurement splits when it comes to the proportions. I’d think a version of the measurements split clearly would be great for the black action line. I also think the black action line should be updated. I think there should be a triangle for the hips and I think it could be more powerful if tonight out a bit better.
Very helpful app
I don’t usually write review for my purchase, but this time I have to say, it’s a good tool! It’s quite flexible to do a variety of gestures, and lighting system is very helpful too! And I believe this app can be even better!
I click on some body parts and move them by mistake quite often, it will be awesome if there’s an undo button so I can move it back quickly.
There isn’t any numeric value aside to indicate how many angles I turn the body parts, so it slows down my process to adjust the gesture.
There are groups of arrows for different directions on the bottom left for you to move the selected body parts. Awesome! But I think it will be more user friendIy if they tell which one does the front-back, which one does the left-right and so on. The arrow icons right now all look the same and that might cause confusion. It took me a while to click on the right one to move to the correct direction in my mind.
I would be very appreciated if they can be the next update! Overall, it’s a great app to purchase!
Realistic and extremely useful
I had downloaded a few other pose apps which I liked fine. I downloaded this just out of curiosity, and am very pleased. The (Caucasian only) skin coloring and shading, ability to use fat, skinny or older models is cool, and once you get the hang of which buttons move which body parts which direction, it’s easy. Unlike ArtPose, there’s no preset poses to start from, both male and female models start standing in a T form (arms out straight) but I’ve gotten them into natural, realistic positions. I used to draw from live models, but this is actually better because they won’t move or fidget, the lighting won’t shift and it doesn’t charge by the hour. I am an artist and oil paint; it’s nice to not have to find a model to use to get exactly the position and perspective I want. *Highly* recommend.
