Honestly, this app is great. I’ve met some really good people and they don’t really hide your matches like other dating sites. They definitely want your money for the upgraded membership, but it’s so worth it. $30 a month is a small ask for what they provide. They just need more users and people who are open to being honest about their condition.

Fake profiles, charge men for every possible thing they can think of from paying extra just to see if someone read your messages. I saw a profile a few months back in April of 2025 where a woman was talking about that 2018 was coming to a close and she had good thoughts about the start of 2019. Perfect example

The good news, there are plenty of people on the app. Bad news, if you’re not in California, you’d be lucky to have one in your area. It makes sense, but instead of being upfront about this, they locked the ability to see it through filtering via the Pay wall. You slap $35 down and then immediately find out there’s nobody around you.Unless they somehow increase their user ship by 30x it’s simply not worth it.

If I had to guess, there can’t be more than a few dozen people on this app. Instead of making it cheaper / more accessible in order to drive usage, they chose to make it expensive. I can afford it, but the availability is so low that I regret paying for it. My biggest complaint is that you can’t restrict your profile to your own state or to specific ages (because adoption is so low), so you get a ton of noise from people you have no interest in talking to.

I had some success with this app in the (distant) past but now it’s just more of a money grab than anything. Can’t communicate with anyone without paying, can’t filter members without paying, and even when you do pay the experience leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve paid for membership several times over the last few years only to discover there are very few active members nearby (even in SoCal), near-zero response rates, etc… You’re better off joining a local, in-person group or just using Facebook dating instead of wasting your time and money with this app, now, unfortunately. It’s sad that these people are taking advantage of vulnerable individuals that are already having a tough enough time in the dating world as it is, but I guess that’s the norm these days, right…? What’s else is new.

I had my account verified a year ago only to be asked to reverify it. The video verification doesn’t work on their website for me and I already had to submit my photo through email the first time that they “verified” me. So I’m already worried about who is seeing my photos in their email. Now they’re asking me to send a video of myself through email since I can’t do it through the app. It’s like a humiliation process. Meanwhile, there are tons of profiles of men who either have photos of cartoons or are unverified that can message women at anytime they’d like. So if you’re a man, have fun. Otherwise women be aware. I find it odd they’re making me “reverify” my account via video when the same thread has my photo in it that they verified the first time. Make it make sense.
