i was really enjoying this app. the ‘newspaper’ layout was great.. i loved the ability to use 2 fingers to zoom in on text.
however, for the last few days if you accidental expand an article (rest your finger on the text which opens it into a larger version) the screen freezes and the only option is to discard the app and download it again.
No more print edition?
Since New Years’s Day, I get the message ‘No Internet Connection Detected’
There is an Internet connection and I’ve been using this app for five years. Tried everything. Can’t get what I used to get. Don’t want the e-edition (which has no problem connecting to the internet).
Upgrade crashes regularly
Latest upgrade (2.5.50) crashes frequently and generally feels buggy -- text fading in and out of focus, for example. Have yet to get through the whole paper without relaunching. Upgraded to iOS 8.1 to make sure it wasn't a problem with my iPad configuration. Previous app version was actually more stable, but not completely.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
