In bars and restaurants in the US, we order bottles of booze by the liter, serve their contents by the ounce, and charge by the dollar based on a target cost percentage. This makes for taxing math that we’d all rather not do. The Pour Cost app does that math for you, without the need to type anything in. You adjust the sliders to fit the product, cost, pour, and margin you desire — and Pour Cost does the work.

Amazing food bar managers

This app is amazing for pricing out cocktails, as long as you keep your inventory up to date. It is a manual system but it speeds up the process of if pricing, also being able to adjust your pour cost % is pretty cool. I Highly recommend this app to any bar manager, I also highly recommend donating the money to get full access. Totally worth it.

Awesome app

Really clean design and super easy to use. I love it and highly recommend it.

Love this app. My only qualms are when I make a cocktail it automatically puts a base unnamed liquor in at .79 an ounce that I can’t seem to get rid of, and it would be hugely helpful if the liquors added could be shared among management and bar managers who are creating drinks.

Developer Response ,

Hey! We’re releasing an update in the very near future that will allow you to start a new cocktail without a default new spirit being added (totally annoying, I agree). This has been in the works for months, and should release fairly shortly.

As far as the liquors added, we can’t find any reasonable way to share a constantly updated inventory unless you make a staff Facebook page or google ID and log into as a staff. Soon, in the same update, you’ll be able to export cocktails to a .csv file to share. Which will hopefully help a little.

There are a bunch of currency and notes and cocktail ingredient functions en route. Look out for them, and always feel free to reach out.
