Poorly designed and doesn’t function
First and foremost, the app simply doesn’t work. I tried to edit my information to add a work number and change emergency contact info, but when I saved the edits, it reverted right back to the old info. No matter how many times I edited, it would not properly save.
Second, the menu is all the way down at the bottom of the screen and VERY small, and right where to tap to go to the phones menus or switch apps, so when you tap an icon, half the time the screen moves.
Third, it’s unresponsive. When you do tap the unusually tiny icon at the bottom of the screen, it takes a while for your input to be recognized and go to the next screen. So, since it’s response is so delayed, you end up tapping several times, not sure if it registered the first time because it’s so tiny and horribly positioned.
Fourth, how the hell do you even schedule visits on this app!!!! It’s so convoluted and poorly designed that I refuse to use it any more. Why my dog walker thinks this is anything more than an obstacle is beyond me.
Great Pet Sitting Operations Tool!
Power Pet Sitter does an excellent job of connecting my office, pet sitters, and clients. Pet sitters have all the client info they need on the app and can check in and out with location services that includes a timer to ensure visit times are as scheduled. Our clients love the messages received regarding visit updates and there’s even a built in chat feature so clients and sitters can communicate during visits! PPS is constantly evolving to provide more service features...can’t wait to see what’s added next!
Great! But needs work
Have been using this app with clients for over a year now, and I like it but it’s very outdated. I would love to see perhaps a watch feature that tracks where I walked or how long I walked with GPS. Or maybe a thumbprint or facial recognition feature so I don’t have to continuously put in my password every time I open the app(which is all day). I’ve been using this app and will continue to use it but these are just some tips I wish you would use to make my experience and all my coworkers experiences better and more convenient.
