Running power accurately captures your training effort on hills, on the track, on trails, and on the treadmill. Power2Run delivers Power, pace, heart-rate, distance, time, and stride rate on easy to read displays designed by runners for runners. What’s New

Version 7.0

Version 7.0 includes new Run Summary charts showing Power, Speed, Altitude, Heart Rate, and Cadence (Heart Rate and Cadence available for Apple Watch users only). Tapping on the power chart opens a full-screen interactive view with run split, heart rate, and altitude overlay options. The Map View has been enhanced to visually show run splits as well as overlays of Time, Distance, and Power information. In addition, the map view now supports two-finger pan. New Power Metrics were also added to the Run Summary screen to provide additional insight into run performance. The new power metrics include: Normalized Power, Uphill, Flat, and Downhill Power, Max Power over 1 min, 5 min, and 20 min intervals. This release also fixes an issue with the audio cues on the Apple Watch so that music will now return to the proper volume after Audio Cues are played.

This is a great app! It has large buttons which I can see clearly and which are easy to press while running. It measures not only my time/pace, but also energy expended- my effort, depending on the steepness or roughness of the terrain, and the number calories I burned. It tracks my effort whether walking, jogging, or running. And ....., there’s no glare. I find its ease of use and versatility the best of any app I have tried.
