Go Green More Oxygen better for everything
So I purchased a couple packets on 3/21/19 at lows and downloaded the powerful plants app then it ask you if the app can access your camera you click except then hold your phone like your going to take a video of it then then the flowers or vegetables will telling you the story you have to hold your camera still or it will stop and you have to put the camera away and go back to it then it will start from the beginning and it did that a couple times when I was holding it pretty still. Definitely need some fixing it’s so great for the kids my son was so excited and it definitely is knowledgeable.
Fixing: Holding it and watching them talk is cool but also a pain trying to hold it still. I think it would work better if it still use the camera feature and you point it at the package then it identify it then started the story without Having to still keep the camera pointed at the package that would be fantastic. Just and idea to save frustration.
Delightful, simple, helpful app!
I loved watching the cartoon from my Patty Pan squash packet come to life and and tell me a quick story about the plant’s origins, before launching into very specific planting tips, including at least one thing that I had never read or learned anywhere else before. There was joyful Irish music, in theme with the adorable character, playing in the background. The whole thing left me smiling from ear to ear, and excited to run out and plant them immediately this morning, lol. For ppl who are having trouble with this app, I would say a. Make sure you are running the current version of your iOS b. Sit reasonably still, with a something for back support. When I tried to move around way too much the video couldn’t keep up and eventually sort of quit. I closed the app, re-started, and sat for real, not trying to multi-task or anything, and it was fine. And perhaps it has been updated with bug fixes since people had trouble with it, because it really is a delightful experience of an app.
Was very excited for this app as I work in an elementary school with a garden. I downloaded the educational materials. But when I point my app at the characters - no AR. Nothing. I tried and tried.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
