PowerUp Dart is a bit disappointing

So app part. So hard to control. Why not a joystick type touch control. As soon as iphone tilt the tiniest amount full rudder. To get it to stay at neutral is nearly impossible. You must be completely level. It’s Frustrating.

Plane. So it does fly. It handles crashes well. Which is constant. Thats pretty cool. But it is incredibly hard to control. You need a lot of space to fly it.

Honest review here.

Over all it’s been great. I have a small yard, with big trees, and fence... so I have to worry about it going in the neighbors yard. And it has, but it was during summer and I was able to get it, and there were no houses in the yard that it went in.

I had fun flying it around the trees, going in circles, back and forth, sending it so up high. Never had it stuck in the trees (lucky).

I had to adjust things, wait for the right weather and things like that, but when it finally was the final condition and i adjusted it so it worked, so good. Love it.

About it being break proof. No that’s not true. I nose dived multiple times, and I’m starting to see the front of it bust on the corners, so I had to put tape there to protect it from cracking from nose diving so many times.

After a while of flying, the long stick broke (the black king stick the connects to the tail). It split, but I am able to tie it with some strings, and it was fine, but I think it’s kinda done now.

Haven’t tried it in a while.

Yes, I would recommend it. And no, who would want to use a joy stick, I think ok the phone is great. If it breaks, if you can put some tape on it and you’re good. Just try not to make it too heavy with too many tape though. And if it doesn’t work, adjust things, watch tutorials and you’ll be good to go.

Great upgrade to your paper airplanes

I am not sure why this is getting low ratings, I’ve had an awesome time using this with the 3.0 and the dart. It connects fast and automatically, and controlling with gestures is very intuitive. Recording video and controlling a plane is near impossible if you’re trying to track the plane while controlling it using the same device. But it’s a challenge and maybe with time it gets easier. I’ve been able to keep my cardinal plane templates with the 3.0 in the air for 10 minutes continuous flight. The dart is harder to keep in the air for that long but it is more for doing barrel rolls and loops and other air tricks. Overall I’m extremely pleased with the app and the 3.0 and dart modules.
