Prōpa is a community of crazy plant people obsessed with propagating their houseplants. Join Prōpa to find, share, and care for your plants.
Prōpa rewards users who share cuttings by giving them a "prop" - similar to a like - for every single propagation they have shared into the world. That doesn't just include your plant's babies, but also your babies' babies. The sharing never stops, and now you are connected to the jungle you never knew you created.
Prōpa makes it easy to find cuttings of the species you're looking for. Simply add a species to your wishlist and you'll be notified when someone has cuttings available to share.
Add your entire plant collection to your profile and help your friends discover new species they need in their lives! We love all plants, whether you can propagate them or not. Discovering new species is fun!
Play our brand new houseplant identification game! Swipe left or swipe right to identify species and differentiate variations and see how your rank within our happy houseplant community. At first it's easy, (after all, who CAN'T differentiate a Peperomia from a Begonia?), but then it becomes progressively harder and you have to differentiate two species from the same genus, and then two variations of the same species!
Join groups to meet other indoor plant lovers and get advice. We have several public groups including:
Plant Clinic - Ask our community how you can help an ailing plant. Our users are knowledgable and helpful and can often diagnose whether your plant needs a change in its lighting, soil composition, or watering schedule; whether your plant is infested with bugs or caught a fungus or virus and how to best treat it; or whether it's just time to repot!
Plant ID - Don't know what you've got in your pot? Someone will! Our community loves identifying and discovering new plants. Don't be afraid to ask - you could make someone's day!
TAPLAP - Take A Plant Leave A Plant - Are any of your plants too dramatic or cause you too much heartache and you can't bear to toss them in the compost? Add your plants to this group and someone will gladly take them!
Indoor Tigers - Plant people happen to be cat people, too. Share pics of your kittens for all to adore!

No reset password option
Been unable to sign into my account for a few months now since one of the updates locked me out. I don’t have any way to reset my password or have the app at least tell me what my user name was. Can only message the developer through the app (so I put it as one star even though this is definitely a 5 star app when you can use it) in the hopes that a dev notices. Also, some how I have like 15 notifications stacked up on the app that I can’t see because I can’t log in. I’m using iOS 14.6 on iPhone 8 if that is any help.

Great app with amazing people and beautiful plants !
This is the best planty app I’ve come across. Not only does it help you keep track of your own collection, but you can also see other people’s collections and share your propagations nationwide. The wishlist feature and groupchat feature are unique and makes this app super fun and engaging. I’ve done some awesome trades with people I otherwise would have never met outside this app, and also have learned a lot about all different types of plant species. Highly recommend !

Fantastic plant-sharing app!
I love this app! It’s a fun way to share your plant collection and trade cuttings with others! You can filter by location for local swaps, or coordinate long-distance ones by messaging/shipping to others. I love the new feature of adding growth points of your plant by keeping a history of photo updates. And the community is great and so friendly!
