As someone who does love their fast food (especially Jack in the Box and Panda Express) now and then but also is mindful of both additives and nutritional value in my meals this has been a great app which shows me really clearly what potentially harmful additives are in my fast food favorites as well as the nutritional information. Looking forward to more restaurants being added!

Great way to know what’s in your food

I’ve always been curious what additives are in my food, especially when going to a large fast food chain. Prüf made it easy to look up the ingredients of the place I was at and actually helped me choose a new “go-to”.

As someone sensitive to MSG, I’ve unknowingly eaten foods loaded with it, resulting in a day of misery. This app does a great job helping me avoid that happening.

Avoid if allergens are your goal

I put in dairy as an allergy. Picked a random restaurant. Recommendation was for an egg and cheese croissant. What? No easy why to find just dairy free items. Even with the paid option you have to open each item There’s no sorting by dairy free. Save your money if you’re looking for help in this department. Use the free option only for that.

Hi, I’m sorry you had a frustrating experience. Our goal is to provide accurate allergen information, so I’d like to understand what happened here. I wasn’t able to reproduce this behavior, but it’s possible I’m missing an important detail. If you can send the restaurant name and any other information to support@prufapp.com, I’ll investigate it personally.
- Clearer allergen warnings distinguish ingredients from recipe alternatives and facility precautions.
- Clearer guidance when allergen information needs confirmation.
- Improved how allergen disclosures are shown and checked against your preferences.
- Restaurant-disclosed shared-fryer and cross-contact notices can appear in the selected-allergen warning area above Summary.
- Additive concern colors stay consistent between screens, and menu details stay loaded when you return from an additive.
- Menu lists and details require an accepted health score, including cached items.
