I recommend u to use the "all data backup" option >> email to yourself and open it in the other device. But be careful, it could erase unique data of each device.
Regarding syncing without sending email... It needs push-enabled server and then this program couldn't be free to use :-)

Syncing between iPad and iPhone

It would be great of you could add the ability to have the prayers you create available to all devices so of you are out and about and only have your iPhone and need to make a note, you can then view it anywhere, just a thought. I would love it!!!!
