Make notes about the coffee you drink: where it came from, who roasted it, how you brewed it, detailed notes, and add photos.
Open a map to see pins spread across the world, showing everywhere you've enjoyed coffee from.
Brew timers make it easy to brew a great cup of coffee. Add your own custom timer, or use one of the stock timers courtesy of Corvus Coffee Roasters. Get brew notifications even if Press is closed, so you don't miss a step.
With the Notification Center Today Widget, you can be reminded of great coffees you've had in the past, along with butons to quickly enter a new coffee or start a brew timer.
The Dashboard is designed to let you quickly get where you want to go with intuitive buttons. Long press on Notes to immediately start entering a new coffee, or long press on Brew to open a recipe of your choice.

New brew warning sounds, with new timer sounds.
Improvements to generating map pin locations from origin text. Note this will result in all coffee entries re-checking where the map pin should be and should fix map pins that are in incorrect locations.
Fix: Bug where new entries may disappear
Fix: Brew ratio bug
Fix: iPad crash when sharing

Great for documenting
The coffee map is the main reason I purchased this app. Having the ability to see the coffees I have roasted/tasted in a visual display is great. As a home roaster I can also put notes for how I roasted the beans and the taste differences. The Brew portion of this app is not very good though. No matter the configuration of the amount of water/beans the timing for brewing is not accurate. It's better to just use a stop watch or the Brewseful app.
Broken app. Not worth price.
This is a great idea but they fail to execute. The photo app has never worked and crashes the site, instead. They lack a search function of the more popular roasts. They have little functionality for analyzing your brewing data over time, which would greatly improve this. I was previously using Apple Notes to keep my notes in brews and the limited added value of this over Notes doesn’t justify the price. I encourage them to improve the app and wish them luck. The idea is good.
My absolute favorite coffee app!
I’ve looked high and wide for a comparable app, it doesn’t seem to exist. The notes section allows for Coffee Name, Roaster, Producer, Farm, Region and Country. (Even shows you on a map). You can add custom images, ratings and notes. Why hasn’t anyone else figured this out.
Press you are above and beyond the best! And thank you for that.
