• Clearer shipping costs – if you haven't added a shipping address yet, incoming swap requests now show shipping as "TBC" rather than an estimated figure. Add your address in Settings to see your exact rate before you accept. • Easier sign-in – if you try to sign in a different way from the one you originally used (for example, Google instead of Apple), Print Swap now shows you how you signed up and links the accounts once you're in, rather than showing an error. • Stability and performance improvements throughout the app.

Safer email changes — Updating your email in settings now sends a verification link to the new address first. Your current email stays active until you click that link, so you're never locked out mid-change. A "Pending" notice in your profile shows when a change is waiting to be confirmed. Simpler Terms & Conditions — The agreement checkbox is now always tappable — no need to scroll all the way to the bottom first. The checkbox itself has a cleaner, more prominent design that's easier to read and use. Stability & polish — Small fixes across sign-in, profile settings, and internal metrics.

Easier first steps — If you’ve joined but haven’t added a print yet, we’ll send a friendly reminder in Notifications and show helpful tips while you browse the feed, so you know how to upload and start swapping. Clearer prompts — Onboarding messages use sharper copy and a more readable card over the home feed. Stability & polish — Small fixes to notifications, sign-in, and swap payment messaging.

Get started faster. After setting up your profile, Print Swap now prompts you to upload your first artwork straight away — so you're ready to swap from day one. Clearer payment language. The swap confirmation screen now explains that we hold your payment until both prints are on their way — you're never charged until everything is in motion. More reliable accepting. If you tap Accept during a busy moment, you'll now see a clear message telling you when to try again, rather than nothing happening. Upload flow improvements. Various polish across the upload journey.

Swap requests You can now send a swap request even when the other artist's shipping details haven't been fully confirmed yet. The app will show the destination as TBC and continue rather than blocking at that step. Notifications You'll now get a notification when someone likes your artwork. Like notifications join swap request notifications and mutual-match alerts. Push notifications are also more reliable across devices. We fixed an issue that could cause some to fail silently on certain handsets. Search and discovery Fixed a bug where tapping an artwork in search results could occasionally open the wrong detail view. Search navigation now takes you to the correct artwork and artist. Uploading artwork Fixed an issue where images taken in portrait or landscape orientation could appear rotated in your artwork layout. The app now reads the orientation embedded in your photo file. Payments Several reliability improvements to the payment system: Fixed an issue that could cause a print order to be placed twice in certain edge cases Fixed a rare bug affecting payment authorisation for users whose Stripe profile had become out of sync Corrected the merchant name shown during Apple Pay confirmation Artwork deep links Artwork links shared outside the app (from Instagram, direct messages, or elsewhere) now open the correct artist profile and artwork view. Sign in with Apple Fixed an issue where Sign in with Apple could write incomplete account details on first login, which occasionally caused the display name to appear blank. Under the hood Performance and stability improvements throughout, including faster app launch and more robust backend handling of webhook events.

This update improves the artwork upload experience, with cleaner image handling, better print preview behaviour, and more reliable navigation through the upload flow. We’ve also improved sign-in and account handling, strengthened behind-the-scenes app configuration, and fixed several stability issues around Google Drive imports, print layout, and upload validation. As always, this release includes performance improvements and bug fixes to make Print Swap smoother and more reliable.
