Prisms is a free 3D spatial puzzle game. You play the role of a newly hired intern of Dr. Cubit’s. Dr. Cubit is an underfunded, genius, zany scientist on the leading edge of cube-based research. As his intern, you can earn his satisfaction by assisting with scientific research in the form of rolling around cubes, attaching different shapes to your cube, then orienting your cube correctly to match up with shaped gates. During your internship, you will encounter 3 different shapes. The circle and square can be placed in any direction, while the triangle must be oriented correctly. You may also encounter teleporters and flooring that’s only temporarily visible, requiring additional spatial reasoning. There are 20 exciting experiments available for free and 5 crazy bonus experiments available by performing tests to Dr. Cubit’s standards. If you choose to fund Dr. Cubit’s research for $4.99, you can run 20 more challenging experiments and 5 more bonus experiments (not for the weak-minded)!

- Learn about Dr. Cubit and his friendly robot PRISMO over 20 challenging spatial puzzle levels.
- Unlock the hidden challenges of 5 bonus levels by solving the puzzles more optimally.
- Master the prism and learn to manipulate all 3 shapes.
- No ads, no timers, no recurring microtransactions, no selling your data. This isn't some sort of dystopian spyware, this is REAL SCIENCE!
- Optional $4.99 purchase to unlock 20 more levels with several new mechanics and 5 additional bonus levels for a total of 50 levels.
- Visualize and complete successful experiments with invisible flooring.
- Unleash the potential of the cube, teleporting to new areas.

What’s New

Version 2.0.0

Dr. Cubit has been told by his colleagues he should be more kind. As a result of this feedback, he has invented a number of impersonal innovations to appease his interns. They are as follows:
- It’s now possible to earn 4 hearts per experiment
- Bonus experiments only require a maximum of 3 hearts per level to unlock
- Earning 3 hearts is much more lenient, while earning 4 hearts is the same as if you earned 3 hearts previously (your levels will be updated to the new count after updating the app)
- The signs in the experiments shows the moves needed to earn the different heart amounts, as well as your best and number of moves until until you lose your next heart
- Dr. Cubit and PRISMO will have some new things to say if you earn 3-4 hearts on an experiment.
- Moving the cube is more predictable
- Swiping without releasing in a direction causes the cube to partially roll in that direction, allowing you to preview the direction you will roll
- You now cannot roll off the edges of a level by default. There is a setting to change this back if you really want to feel despair
- Dr. Cubit has found that some people do swipes more aligned with the world, and some people do swipes more aligned with the screen, so level 1 automatically detects and sets your preference for swiping (you can also set this in the options menu).
- The experiment select screen automatically scrolls to your last played experiment (can be disabled in options)
- Your best solution for each experiment will be saved and can be played back from the options menu
- Unlocking new experiments has been changed
- After the first few experiments, more levels are unlocked at a time preventing interns from getting stuck on one individual level
- Levels locked because of game progress, and levels locked because they need to be purchased are differentiated by the paid levels being greyed out.
- Unplayed levels now have a “New” tag on them
- Added new promo and buttons for unlocking experiments
- Added new consent flow to analytics

Highly addictive challenging puzzles

This game really feeds into my competitive nature; three hearts or it doesn’t count! Good ramp up in complexity from tutorial feeling levels to, let’s see if you can figure this out! Been playing for hours and I can’t put it down.

Developer Response ,

I like your style. Good luck with some of the later levels, you'll need solid understanding of how the cube and the prism work to get the optimal moves!

Challenging and enjoyable!

The puzzles are challenging, but once you get it, you get it! This is a fun puzzle that really gets you thinking about the next steps before you start. I also really like the banter from the characters.
