Great vpn tons of features good prices

I normally don’t rate vpns. I mean I wasn’t able to find one that I liked. Until I tried torguard. Thanks a million to Tom sparks for helping me find torguard. I love the features that you get with this vpn. And the dedicated IPs are great. Prices are good if you use the coupons it’s actually really cheap and great quality service. I don’t really stream so I don’t use the streaming IPs. The only reason I use a dedicated ip is because I hate captchas. If streaming is your thing there maybe better options for you out there because torguard only Gives you 2 streaming IPs. But that’s no big deal for me I love the service. Great quality service. And support is top notch they normally reply within minutes. I won’t be switching vpns anytime soon. Plus duck duck go also uses torguard.

*This is an edit to my previous review below. The current state of the app works as it should. I do not have any more negative issues with it, and I am happy with its functionality with Torguard’s VPN service.

I have been a Torguard customer for years now. This app stopped working, and after hours of customer service, the only suggestion given to me was “download OpenVpn Connect app.” Then, I was directed by customer support to Torguard’s website directions to configure that app, and the website is using an outdated year-old version of iTunes. Very disappointing.

Worst VPN ever

This was the worst experience I had during a decade of purchusing VPNs. unfortunately I lost about about 200$ on the 3 year subscription of this VPN. I live in Iran that has heavy internet censorship, despite their heavy advertisements that say they can bypass any Internet censorships and restrictions, they can’t.

Many free VPNs can bypass but this expensive VPN is not able to do that. I asked them to refund my money but they said crypto payments are not refundable! And they had written this into their terms and conditions and not under the payment page so I lost my money. They asked me to apply some settings to connect but the settings couldn’t establish on IOS or my purchased dedicated Ip and also applying them on public servers caused internet speed to drop drastically so their recommended settings were useless too. You can easily put them on worst global VPN’s list.

A bit useless because

TorGuard is a bit useless because when connected to it you can’t connect to certain sites such as Yelp or banking apps, etc. Further, you get tons of captcha challenges on sites, anything using cloudflare or Google. I have even gotten captcha challenges on Torguard’s own website when using TorGuard. Seriously?? I have another VPN supplied by my ISP that doesn’t do this at all so I know it’s a problem with Torguard. Also, I paid extra for a dedicated IP yet I was told they actually are out of stock for dedicated IP’s near me. Seriously? What am I paying for? The only thing TorGuard has going for it is it can use the Wireguard protocol versus OpenVPN which is not as efficient and on iOS uses more battery life.

Also, their customer service is absolutely abysmal, they will just ghost you, and not answer questions.

If you have a problem connecting to certain sites your first port of call would be the support desk - any block is easily resolved with support. Captcha is there to prevent bots, if you use shared servers this is bound to happen - we can’t whitelist our own ip’s to let users freely abuse our site, so that doesn’t make much sense to do. Value, service and dependability!

I’ve had my service for years and I’ve never had any issues whatsoever! It’s been so dependable I opted to pay for years of service in advanced just for the discounts. They’ve earned my praise so I’ve had no concerns investing in them for the long run.

The seamless interaction between using it on my computer, my router, my phone and even at the same time at times has allowed me to reduce the advertisements and tracking garbage that many websites try to sneak on me. I’m glad I got this!

Hands down best vpn money can buy

Very Responsive Tech Support

Don't pay attention to the reviewers who give unfavorable reviews because they can't think to reach out to the technical support people first. Oftentimes the Torguard tech support can help you resolve any issues you may be experiencing with their services. And they are super responsive. So, before you rush to give them a bad review, do your part first and see if they can help you. It may just be a couple settings that need to be changed on your end.

Good service, Glad they added back Openvpn support

The service is great!
I wasn’t happy when they removed the ability to install openvpn profiles via the app, but their recent update added Openvpn support directly to the app, so that’s great!
The app could use some improvement:
- The Secure WiFi feature isn’t working. It stays on the VPN even when it’s on a marked secure network
- There’s a second place to login with account credentials, but they don’t give any explanation as to why that’s needed. The VPN seems to work fine without it.
- Should be able to configure excluded networks by adding the one you are currently connected to without having to type it in manually
- Should be able to configure what networks to auto connect on without having to disconnect.
- Would be nice to have an option to automatically use the vpn on any unsecured WiFi network, not just all except manually excluded.
Most of these problems have been there for quite a while, so not the best in terms of support speed.

The most underrated and the best VPN

This is the best VPN in comparison with creating your own. It is expensive but do use the coupon codes and ensure that you contact support for your questions. As other people said do not rush to conclusions and just give them a bad review. They are not a huge company, they are doing what they can in an industry of scammers and companies that just buying “Reviewers” and “influencers”. I enjoy the stream IPs and they work better than any alternative VPN ones.

USELESS for iPads and iPhones in China

Alright, so for the past YEAR, the vpn servers were working on any iPads or iPhones no matter what server or protocol I tried!! I know the reason! I’ve sent many feedbacks telling the team to bring STEALTH MODE to the mobile device version! This mode works perfectly on my laptop and the speed is reasonable, but because this stealth mode is not present in mobile device version, it is IMPOSSIBLE to connect with your iPad or iPhone if you are based in China!!! So please, take this seriously and update the app version with STEALTH MODE!!!!
