PRICING
Texter is free to download and comes with 20 free credits to send messages. Phone numbers and additional credits are available through subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Our standard Subscription Options for phone numbers are weekly, monthly and yearly.
If you choose to get one of our plans then your payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal depends on your Subscription Plan.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
When canceling a subscription, your subscription will remain active until the end of the period. Auto-renewal will be disabled but the current subscription will not be refunded.
IMPORTANT: Messages use prepaid credits. Area code availability varies. May not work with SMS shortcode services. Not for 911 or other emergency services.

LET ME USE THE ENTER KEY :-)
This, while pricey, is a decent app giving you privacy and discretion for whatever your needs may be. IT DOES NOT ALLOW CALLS! And I would realy like a setting allowing me to use the ENTER key to submit the text.

Hello! Many thanks for treating the Texter app with four stars! If you would also like to make calls, you can try our different app called Numbr, which has both calling and messaging feature. Head to the Settings of the Texter app and tap on About us. Here, you will find Numbr. Unfortunately, we don't want to change the enter key function for submitting the message as then it would be impossible to go to the next line. We hope Texter will keep on meeting your needs even without changing the functionality of the enter key. Thanks a lot!
Expensive and poor support
Signed up for an sms option since I live outside U.S., attracted by "free" texts to test service. After sending and receiving one text, free service evaporated (not quantified by likely number of texts), and the site then revealed its high cost for texts afterward on -- over and above the monthly fee. I sought support feedback, which responded only with unhelpful after-the-fact explanations. Get clear with them on total likely costs for service you'll use before completely wasting money on a first month.

Hello there! We are sorry to hear we didn't manage to meet your needs. In the App Store Description, we clearly state each user gets 20 free credits which can be used for texting of their choice. The in-app Tariff calculator shows how many credits you need for each message. We have nothing to hide, and all the important facts can be found on the App Store. A complete bust
Great phone numbers available, easy to set up, straightforward to use, even looks good, but it doesn't work reliably. Texts may or may not come. The one thing it is supposed to do, it does not. Moreover, I paid for a subscription but still only received a few "credits" for texts? Doesn't even charge properly. A total bust. Do NOT buy this app unless they address these issues explicitly in an update.
