Minor bug fixes

Improvements: - We’ve improved backwards compatibility with previous SafeCase models. - We’ve clarified to the user that connecting to a new SafeCase will cause the app to forget the previous device.

What’s new: - The app now directs to the AWS GovCloud environment by default (FedRAMP certification is in process). To take effect, the app should be deleted and reinstalled. Improvements: - We’ve improved the stability of the communications link to the cloud. - We’ve improved the flow of the process for selecting permissions during the app walkthrough. Bug fixes: - We fixed an issue with IPv6 addresses not displaying correctly on the Network Info screen. - We fixed an issue where the app walkthrough could be skipped by closing the app mid-walkthrough.

What’s new: • The app now supports checked-in mode for users operating in sensitive locations. Improvements: • We’ve improved the readability of text within the app. • The My SafeCase screen now displays SafeCase for iPhone 12 for users of that model. • The Help screen now contains information specific to SafeCase for iPhone 12. • The popover that displays on the My SafeCase screen when connecting to the cloud can now more easily be tapped for more information on connection state. Bug fixes: • We fixed a bug with the navigation bar displaying in Dark Mode regardless of setting.

What’s new: • A user will now be notified any time their SafeCase becomes disconnected from their phone or the cloud. Improvements: • We’ve added better support for recovering from a dropped phone/SafeCase connection. • We’ve streamlined the switching between WiFi and cellular networks. • We’ve improved the monitoring of the phone’s Bluetooth power status. •We’ve enhanced the stability of cloud communication sessions. Bug fixes: • We’ve resolved a number of different crashes. • We fixed a bug in the pairing process that required users to twice select the SafeCase to which to connect.

What’s new: • The external IP address in the Network Info screen within Settings now differentiates WiFi and cellular connections. Improvements: • We’ve improved the stability of the app during the verification of audio masking functionality. • We’ve renamed the Wireless Off/On Mode section (under SafeCase Settings in the Help section) to BLE Off/On Mode for the sake of clarity. Bug fixes: • We fixed a UI bug causing the audio waveform on the Verification screen to extend beyond its bounds. • The “External Input Detected” notification that displays on the Verification screen whenever headphones are connected is now properly dismissed when the headphones are disconnected. • We resolved a UI bug causing the “Connecting to GovCloud” (or “Connecting to Commercial Cloud”) message on the My SafeCase screen to appear repeatedly throughout the app. • We fixed an issue where the text labels for Case Battery Level and Firmware Version on the My SafeCase screen would not update.

What’s new: • The app now supports multiple cloud environments: GovCloud (the default option) and Privoro’s commercial cloud. Improvements: • We’ve improved the stability of iPhone-to-SafeCase connections. Bug fixes: • We resolved a connection status display issue. • The play icon for audio recordings captured via the Verification screen is now appropriately rendered.

What’s new: • The new Connection Status value at the top of the My SafeCase screen allows you to quickly view your connection state. • The app will now send an alert whenever you try to charge your SafeCase with a non-supported cable or wall/charging adapter. Improvements: • We’ve updated the base communications layer to improve end-to-end system communication. Bug fixes: • We resolved an issue that prevented SafeCase from reconnecting to the cloud in some cases following a disconnect event. • We fixed a bug causing some users to erroneously receive an alert during the pairing process notifying them that their phone’s Bluetooth had been disabled. • We resolved an issue in the pairing process where the same SafeCase would show up multiple times when scanning for devices. • We fixed an issue where leaving the app from the Verification screen and then reopening the app would cause the audio waveform to freeze. • We resolved a bug where repeated pressing of the Start Recording button on the Verification screen would crash the app.

What’s new: • You will now receive separate notifications when SafeCase battery level drops to 20% and 10%. Improvements: • We’ve improved the flow of the in-app SafeCase setup assistant. • We’ve improved the speed of reconnection to the cloud when switching between cellular and WiFi networks. Bug fixes: • We fixed a bug where the in-app SafeCase setup assistant would appear for existing app users.

Bug fixes: • We resolved an issue where the power consumption fix may not request access to Motion & Fitness Data.

Improvements: • We’ve reduced the app’s power consumption by increasing the efficiency of location sharing. Bug fixes: • We resolved a number of issues related to QR scanning during the SafeCase pairing process. • We fixed a handful of issues around the use of Bluetooth headphones while the Verification screen is being utilized. • We fixed an issue where the iOS prompt for camera permissions would display incorrectly for some users.

What’s new: • You can now use the app to view information about your current network connection, including the connection type and IP address. Navigate to the Settings screen and then tap the Network Information option. • The color of the battery icon on the My SafeCase screen now reflects the current charge level of your SafeCase – blue for above 40%, yellow for 10 to 40% and red for below 10%. Bug fixes: • We fixed a bug that would cause the app to crash upon navigating to the Verification screen. • We fixed a bug that would cause the app to crash due to Bluetooth Low Energy communications.

Improvements: • We’ve improved the reliability of pairing between the app and SafeCase. Bug fixes: • We fixed a UI issue where an audio waveform in the Verification screen would extend above the waveform window. • We fixed a number of issues that would cause the app to crash.

In this version: • The walkthrough now asks you to agree to legal documentation prior to continuing through the app. • The permission section of the walkthrough is now skippable. • You will be notified if you disable Bluetooth on your device.
