This update frees your Flipbook. Pick it up and throw it around your screen. Make it smaller so you can focus on what you're drawing. There are also some handy improvements to your Timeline. Vertical Flipbook Move your Flipbook to the left or right to create a vertical timeline. Draw with one hand and flip through drawings with the other. Double tap the drag handle at any time to swap between compact and full-size Flipbook. Next / previous drawing There are two new buttons for jumping to the next or previous drawing, even if it's many held frames away. And you can hop straight to the start or end of your Flipbook by holding down. Scrub lock When your Flipbook is free, tap on the center of the scrub wheel to lock to the current frame. When you finish scrubbing it will snap back to the locked frame. Great for quickly checking against nearby frames. Backstage visibility When animating you're often scaling content that is larger than the Stage, or moving things onto the Stage. In Movie Settings -> Stage you can now increase the opacity of the content that extends past the Stage, so you can actually see what you're doing. Multi-select reload Just like in Drawing Selections, you can now hold the Multi-select button and restore your previous selection on the Timeline. See your easings Quickly see what easings your keyframes are using. The preset name will show up on the keyframe track of your active content. Compose Flip and Reset Tap on the ellipsis (...) button on the Compose bounding box to flip your content horizontally and vertically without impacting your keyframes. This update includes improvements to undo with the introduction of Recovery Points, and a few fixes to enhance performance. • Ever lost the progress of your movie because you couldn’t redo? Three undo steps in a row followed by a new action will automatically create a Recovery Point to claim it back. Up to three Recovery Points will be saved for each movie in Movie Settings > History. • Don’t panic if you accidentally delete your movie! Files will now appear in the Recently Deleted folder on your iPad for 30 days when deleted from the Theater.

Performing with barrel roll With Performing, you can create animations by recording your actions while the movie plays. Now with barrel roll, you can move and rotate your object at the same time. You can switch this off in Movie Settings → Preferences. Brush response with barrel roll Use drag and drop to import your favourite Procreate brushes customized with barrel roll into Procreate Dreams. Squeeze Experience an uninterrupted workflow by using squeeze to play and pause your movie while you create and edit. Use squeeze with Loop Screen on your Timeline to keep you in the zone. You can switch this off in Movie Settings → Preferences by tapping on the Movie name. Haptic feedback Haptic feedback provides a more tactile experience when editing on the Timeline. Try trimming your content and feeling it snap to match other content. Brush cursor This well-loved Procreate feature is now available in Procreate Dreams. Use brush cursor to see the shape of your brush as you draw. With hover you can see a full color preview of your brush when painting, and a preview of what will be removed when erasing. Brush cursor settings can be personalized in Movie Settings → Preferences. Lens Blur live filter Add realistic bokeh and camera focus effects to your animations. Tap the Playhead and choose Filter → Lens Blur. Available on M1, M2, and M4 iPads. Please note, any files created in this version of Procreate Dreams cannot be opened in previous versions. Recent undo steps As well as customizing the total number of stored undo steps, you can now choose how many are distributed throughout your document history.
