  • Why 4 Stars?

    S1lv3rst4rs

I LOVE this app genuinely so much and I love the amount I can make and do, I can work so nicely but wish there were more tools, I wish specific selection could be symmetrical and I think more than one reference window open at a time would be AMAZING, I am working on commissions and I hate switching between tabs because I want to see both at once so I can ensure it looks right from afar :’) it’s way to tedious having to switch back fourth so PLEASE add an extra reference window option!

  • LOVE THIS

    THE RIZZLER…

I have been playing procreate for so long now! It is the best way for younger kids to explore the amazing art you can do, and older kids + adults to just create amazing pieces! I also love the features you can do, like pinch the drawing! It’s also a great app to enjoy on airplanes or none internet car rides. I especially use it during those times! Thanks procreate! I love this app so much! Now I’m gonna go use it right now:)

    Developer Response

  • One suggestion

    Kina067

I absolutely love this app. I draw on it all the time but I’m the kind of person to come back after months to a piece. It’s a little inconvenient coming back and having no idea what brushes I used on it. I would suggest maybe putting a brush history in the canvas information? I think that would help a lot of people.Otherwise, I absolutely recommend this app!

    Developer Response

Hi Kina! Thanks for leaving us an amazing review. You can currently see your previously used brushes in the Recent tab in your Brush Library. We will also be happy to note down your suggestion!

  • Yes!

    Blu3Jayy

I love procreate! Ive had it fora few years and after the recent-ish update all the new brushes are amazing and let me try so many new styles to draw! It’s honestly amazing especially after figuring out how to use everything. I really like the animation feature, although the layer limit is annoying sometimes; Im planning to buy procreate dreams soon so i can animate better there with more options!

    Developer Response

Hey Blu3Jayy - Cheers for your kind words and support for us! In terms of the layer limit, how many layers you'll be able to work on in Procreate entirely depends on the size of your canvas, as well as your iPad's RAM at this moment. If you reduce your canvas dimensions, you'll get more layers to work on. We chose to introduce a layer limit to ensure the fastest and most stable user performance in Procreate. That being said, we're always working hard on making Procreate even better, so allowing more layers is something we are always working towards. We hope this sheds some light on the situation, and please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions or concerns 💖

  • App is great but...

    sha.irl777

I have been using procreate for over a year now, and I will say it is my go to drawing app. However, lately I have been having this issue where the app lags when I try to use it. I have to color something for someone but the app freezes and lags when I try to move the canvas. Is there a fix to this? Or is there a way the developers can fix it?

    Developer Response

Hi sha.irl777 – if things don't improve by doing a force restart (procre.at/restart) of your iPad, please get in touch via our Support Form (procre.at/support) with more information and an externally recorded video of what's happening. This will allow us to provide the best troubleshooting steps or advice to suit you. 💜

  • Huge fan but leaving after update

    Mimiiiiii403

Used to love this app and use it constantly, it was my work companion and I’d recommend it to everyone. But this newest update has made this app nigh unusable. It crashes every few minutes, and the only way to reset it is by rebooting my device, which is time consuming and throws off my rhythm. I’m not the only artist struggling with this right now, and I’m really hoping the team either offers an option to undo the update, or fix these bugs. Until then, I’m off the app. ;(

  • Great paid drawing app!

    AcadiaTree13

This is a great app not for complete beginners due to the paid aspect but for people who draw and doodle often this is an amazing app! I have used it since 2024 and I love how the app doesn’t completely change their UI every update! The only complaint I have is that you have to buy Dreams completely separate rather than it just being like a 10$ upgrade. This is a great way to draw without expensive materials and it is a very reasonable price! Overall great app and great team behind it!

    Developer Response

Hi AcadiaTree13 - Procreate Dreams is a completely new app that took us many years in development, which is why it needs to be individually purchased. However, all of our apps are one-time purchases which means you can use them for life without having to pay ever again.

  • New update

    Rhonda m.b

The new update was very hard for me to figure out. It took me a good four hours to finely figure out where everything was. But because of my confusion I was late to tune in a project. I’m now a little more comfortable with the new update. It was just very hard to have everything changed that you are used to seeing.I love this app so much that I was instantly devastated when I first opened up my project and couldn’t find anything that I needed to use to finish my projects.Love the app

    Developer Response

Hey Rhonda - thanks for leaving us a review and for your feedback! We appreciate hearing about your experience and will take this on board. We hope you are starting to like the new update. • Brushes automatically reset

    Sdrrr.Sdkkk

Like i don’t genuinely hate this update, because it brings even more brushes for me to draw, create but i do have to say that this has happened to me twice, after i imported some brushes ,like 4-5 after it ALL RESETS to original like it’s empty the brush ,i was so shocked.Well overall I do like the previous update ,bc this big changes will take time to get used to it and also if u could make a setting which we could change back to 5.3 i would be really excited.

  • new update ruined everything :(

    noahsTrash

I’ve had procreate for a little over five years, and until now it’s been my favorite program for drawing digitally. Recently, for whatever reason, the new update doesn’t allow me to use any brushes without WiFi!!! Which is extremely silly and was never like that before! it’s very frustrating to not be able to work on projects on the go, without access to WiFi :( pls fix, it ruined the experience completely.

    Developer Response

Hi noahsTrash - You could opt to have your brushes downloaded always. In Files App, tap iCloud Drive > Procreate > Brushes > long-hold and select 'Keep Downloaded'. You can also opt to not store brushes in iCloud at all but locally on your iPad. You can turn off the option in Actions (wrench) > Prefs > Store brushes in iCloud.
