Useful app but lacks updates
This app add great remote access using an ipad/iphone. Unfortunately there is a lack of updates and support. The last update was in 2014. But it works and we continue to use it. I hope they improve the log-in process and provide a more detailed user guide.

Pre iPad OS update the functionality of this product was about a 2 out of 5 stars for me viewing my drinking water and wastewater treatment plants. The laptop remote webspace viewing is 5 stars for me. Since the iPad OS update this app has no value = 0 stars for me as it does not work and I cannot get into my plant SCADA screen remotely. I keep asking the New England rep as to when there will be a GE app update and it is always a few weeks. Now I use the iPad as a hotspot so I can get in through my laptop. The iPad is supposed to be my go tool I carry with me most times, but unless it works, I must now carry the iPad and laptop instead of just the iPad for remote visibuty. GE please support this product at an appropriate level considering I'm trying to use your product for remote monitoring of a city of 30-45K drinking water and wastewater treatment. Not understanding lack of attention to this update as what is more paramount than public health and safety and my plants to me?
Needs vector graphics on webspace server and improved app configuration
If your graphics aren't running on the iFix 5.8 vector graphics system, this app is hard to use. Also when you can connect to your webspace server, it isn't too streamlined to launch iFix. You have to select iFix then when it launches you have to sign into iFix security. It takes too long and even on an iPhone 6+ I still struggle with signing in correctly.
My comment would be integrate iFix security and auto launch application into the application settings. Then I would use the app a lot more.
A much better solution is to securely install/configure VNC on a node and use the VNC app to connect
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
