Programming Hub: Learn Coding Ratings and Reviews

From the guy who never reviews apps & has NO background in computers, coding or related.

I feel obligated to do so for this one. I’m a complete noob in IT, programming, Coding, hacking, all of it. But, always had a huge interest in learning and knowing how to completely understand, build and use a computer, network, internet, virtual machines and websites. Though I don’t think I’m anywhere near knowledgeable enough to land any entry level job into any of the related fields, this app has really made learning the basics super user friendly and easy to comprehend. I’m not sure yet how in depth some of these courses go. But, I’ve started with the basics so far and can say I’ve grasped it all and retained most well. Which has always been hard for me. I bought the pro version, so I get certificates at the end of each course. I’m sure they’re not accredited with any sought after employers or firms but stepping stones towards the knowledge needed then applied in real life as practice would likely be sufficient in a year or two with consistent effort every day, multiple times a day in this app. I’m on day 2, completed 2 courses (fundamentals and SEO), I just started my 3rd (IT Basics) and don’t plan on stopping until every course is completed. Sorry for going on and on. Figured I could share as much as possible since I won’t be leaving anymore reviews on anything else for a solid 5 years or so.

very informative and easy to understand 10/10 plenty of topics.

Lesson plans of taste at a very nice piece. It allows you to understand take notes. Do whatever you need to do allow you to understand it boy and then you can always go back if you need to. I recommend the full version because it’s not that much and it has that much more value and then there’s so many different courses that you have to pick of the letter and you can learn so much from it on myself. I’m already taking four courses and excelling all of them. I highly recommend this house, any workers interested in learning anything about data learning anything about coding learning anything about NFTs learning anything about cryptocurrencies block chain multiple coding languages? Do computer programming really. Just do it download it you won’t be disappointed

Worth it, but beware of bugs.

I bought Pro and am happy I did. A wide variety of topics, most lessons are compact and not wasting anyone’s time, and clearer explanations than other apps. However, there are a few bugs and the Grammar/English can be tough at times. To me, the point of language is to convey ideas, so it doesn’t matter if you use the wrong “your” or say ain’t, but some of these statements in here have to be read several times to make sense. Lots of typos. For bugs, my courses don’t track progress correctly. I refresh and the percentage hops around, even if I’ve completed the course. Completed courses don’t show up under completed. I’ve done six or seven and only one is there. I can’t change my name or picture even though I’m typing in my password correctly. I think the save button doesn’t work in the top right corner. Several random crashes. I am running the newest update of the app and iOS. Also, quit asking me to rate five stars after every lesson. I’ve rated 5 stars several times. Here’s 3 more

Best on-the-go learning ever!

I thought this app would be confusing like several others that I won’t mention but, nope! Learning is fun and you can do it while you are waiting for your food, in line, or on a break. It’s bite sized and easy to navigate. Not only does it have an extensive catalog of coding languages to learn from, this app also gives you a break down log what you will learn. It also shows you how much people are earning with each specific language. This is all broken down before you decide to start the course. If you are the type that loves learning this will be a no brainer. A lot of these languages are beginner friendly and they kindly mark them as such so you will know before you commit. If you can swing it, the lifetime pass is more than worth it.

WAY too buggy

I got this game and got the lifetime deal (although the deal says that it ends in a day but it’s not true). Everything was fine, the explanation of different topics was simple and easy. Then, after I finished the fundamentals I was given the option of printing out a certificate showing I completed the course. I filled out my name and tried to print it out, but it wouldn’t let me. I tried a different name but still no luck. I gave up and started learning new courses. Again, everything was going well, and then one day I tried to resume one of my courses. It gave the loading screen, and after a few seconds it glitched into the home screen. I tried it again and again, trying to resume any of my courses. Nothing worked. I thought maybe it just needed a refresh of the app so I deleted it and reinstalled the app. Then, I tried to sign in. I entered in all the information and pressed the button to sign in. All it did was freeze.
I just think it’s ironic that an app focused on making good apps, games, etc. is so bad at making it’s own app.

ProgramingHub makes learning programming much easier than I expected.

This seems so simple I wish I would have heard of ProgramingHub sooner. Still at it still saweet. Just learning more at my speed no pressure Learning C++ it is a different from python and Java so far. Program Hub’s definition and breakdown of all the courses I have been learning are most exemplary. Just starting Java all is good here. Java completed this is totally mind blowing the ease of use while I am learning. SAWEET Wow linear regression just the concept itself took my thought process to a completely different realm. This is totally limitless as to what can be predicted. I understand a little more about advertising, flyers, the whole of businesses trying to keep customers or lure customers. In depth yet easy to understand great programming!

Well! This was unexpected.

I was always weary of the reviews but TRUST ME. You wanna practice certain things? Want to learn how to make a website? No? What about Python? No? How about Ethical hacking? You have over 50 different paths. You learn the basics.. once you complete the course you will have access to this area that you can mess with the codes and it shows you SO MUCH on what you can do. HTML has so much to offer and I can say you can easily put about 5000 hours into this app. Get the pro. I know paying for an upgrade is not the greatest BUT! It’s worth it. I was going to regret it until I figured out the amount of stuff you can do with it. Sololearn can’t compare to this. They have a community yes but I can’t do half of the things this app offers.

Impressed Thus Far!

I haven’t done much, but the few courses I’ve made it through have been easy to understand and not overly technical. So many of these programming apps and courses assume that the student has a certain level of understanding and at some point they become confusing if you aren’t familiar with whatever they assume you already understand about programming. These courses don’t make assumptions, so while some of it may seem remedial, it’s also nice to know that they aren’t going to suddenly start speaking a language you don’t understand, leaving you lost and frustrated. I’ve been happy with what I’ve seen thus far and I’m excited to continue learning through the app!

Good information but buggy

I’ve been using the app for several days and enjoying the basic information about programming and how well things are explained. Really nice to see something that focuses on the concepts first.

Unfortunately, there are a few things that would stop me from buying the pro version. There are several small bugs in the basic course, and also in the function of the app that are surprising. You can’t use just your email to sign up, since the window is buggy. The feedback form isn’t obvious, but even when you eventually find it, it doesn’t submit correctly, meaning that there is no way to give feedback on the bugs. Another big thing is that there’s no indication as to what courses are only for the pro version, and what’s free.

For casual use, a nice app, but needs work.

I’m rating this app 4 out of 5 because it would be nice to add an advance courses section.

Now! Don’t get me wrong for the promo price it’s a great app specially for the entire courses available and a plus for the certified completion certificate especially for beginners. Also if you love to listen more than reading it’s just great, it’s simple and it explains everything very simple. For example I am a financial advisor(licensed) and I have strong skills on investing and trading on stocks and cryptocurrencies so I have a vast knowledge on the field and I want it to give a shot to one of the courses included on this app and it is about creating your own crypto etc. I already know about this crypto world so I took a shot and I saw that it is very summarized and easy to understand for beginners.
