Are you a vacation rental owner, home-sharing host, or property manager? Need a tool to manage your turnover cleanings? Properly is a mobile app to schedule cleanings, show cleaners how to stage and clean a listing, get photos and damage reports, and find great cleaners used by other hosts when your cleaner is not available (in select countries).

Properly seamlessly integrates with Airbnb and HomeAway (more platforms on the way) so you can sync your bookings and schedule turnover cleanings directly inside the app. You can also connect multiple accounts to manage all of your clients’ rentals from one login.

Properly checklists let you use photos and text to explain things like: where supplies are located; how to fold and present linens; what welcome gifts to put out; where to put the keys when they are finished, etc. Cleaners can translate all of your text notes into their preferred language.

Send your checklists as customized job requests to one or multiple cleaners at once without negotiating back and forth for hours. The first to accept the request gets your job.

Receive notifications when your cleaner started and finished the job at your listing. You can also get photos of finished work, problem reports, and updates on completed tasks as if you were there yourself!

Properly lets you send job requests to cleaners who have used the app with other hosts in your area. Current countries where the Community Cleaner program is available are: USA, New Zealand, Australia.

This program has helped us create a more quality and controlled Company in Housekeeping and Inspections !! We now can make sure that everything reported has a trace and be more proactive in taking care of issues reported in a more timely manner and a more professional approach to home owners.. In addition this programs has improved our communication throughout the the company!!! The only suggestion would be to have the ability to do perform desktop mode same on app ;) Thanks Properly Team y’all are awesome!!

Works, to a point

The app works more or less the way it’s intended to, but can be very annoying on iOS.
Why is the home tab with all of the properties not the default tab to load into? It’s really annoying to have to switch over to properties every time I open it, since it’s the tab I use the most.
Creating/editing checklists is a huge pain on mobile. Why is the orientation of checklists always forced sideways when editing a checklist? It makes a little sense when adding tasks to photos but for checklists it makes no sense and is super frustrating.
Adding photos is a pain too, especially with very large properties that require many photos. Ideally I’d like to just get all of the pictures on my phone, then upload them to a checklist, but once you start trying to upload more than like 20 photos the app crashes and doesn’t save your photos.
So instead I usually just add/take photos in the app, but even that is annoying. Why does the “add slide” button stay at the top, instead of moving down as pictures/slides are added? It would make more sense to move the “add slide” button to the bottom of the slide reel so it’s easier to get to, instead of scrolling back to the top every time, which can get very laggy with the more slides that are added.

This app helps me automate my Airbnb

I feel so lucky to have found this app shortly after I opened two Airbnb’s. Starting a vacation rental and keeping it running smoothly on as little time as possible is a big challenge. This app saves me tons of time coordinating cleaning schedules and helps connect me with new cleaners whenever I need to. I always like two have three cleaners sharing a schedule so there’s always backup and it can be tough to find people who do a good job and who can commit consistently. Can’t say enough good things about this app. I would be happy to share my experience and more feedback with the team at anytime so I can help it grow :)
