House Style House Style lets you define preferred terms and review every match in context. Apply a replacement deliberately, with the original draft retained in revision history before the edited document saves. 1. Open House Style from the editor toolbar. Manage rules, add a literal term and an optional preferred replacement, and save the guide. 2. Review the current draft. Inspect each match and its context, then choose individual replacements. 3. Revisit revision history when needed. Export a guide as JSON or import one with confirmation; guide files do not include the draft. Up to 50 literal rules and a 200 KB draft for House Style. More than 499 matches blocks the whole review instead of presenting partial results. Matching can respect word boundaries and case; it does not understand meaning, verify facts or establish a legal style standard. Replacements require an unchanged draft and a successful document save. Existing revision-history limits apply.

Version 3.0 • Review guidance now identifies priority sentences for your selected audience and offers specific plain-language actions grounded in WCAG reading-level principles. • Readability formulas now show their equations, English-language applicability, sample-size limits, and assumptions. Grade output is clearly presented as an estimate, never a diagnosis. • Revision snapshots add before/after text and metric comparisons, with a reviewable history and recoverable restore action. • Document storage is now versioned, atomic, and recoverable. Proselens migrates earlier libraries, keeps a last-known-good backup, reports failures visibly, and supports bounded library import/export. • Long-document analysis remains off the main thread, while the editor now scales with Dynamic Type and improves VoiceOver, hardware-keyboard, Find, and iPad behavior.

This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge, plus small display fixes. iPhone is unchanged.

Stop words, articles, and filler are excluded so only the words that carry meaning show up. • Sentence Length Distribution — the Stats sheet now includes a visual bar chart showing the length of every sentence in your document, color-coded green/amber/red by the same hard and very-hard thresholds as the editor. Spot sentence monotony (all bars the same length) or confirm you have healthy variety. • Clarity delta in the Library — each saved document now shows a +/– badge next to its clarity score whenever the score changed since the previous save, so you can see at a glance which drafts are improving.
