Description
WWF-Hong Kong’s Protect Lantau will give you an overview of the issues of conservation concern that threaten South Lantau’s precious species and environment. Using augmented reality, this app provides an introduction to the ecological threats faced by white-bellied sea eagles, Eurasian hoopoes, water buffalos, finless porpoise, and three-striped grass frogs that inhabit the area.
WWF-Hong Kong acts as a watchdog for the city’s natural spaces, providing science-based solutions while working with key stakeholders to develop solutions. Our team examines development and town planning issues of ecological and environmental concern, advocates on issues that affect local biodiversity, and works closely with government departments to provide recommendations on various policy issues.
