Not yet nuanced enough.
The gastrointestinal symptoms should also be categorized as “unexplained.” There are plenty of valid and predictable reasons to have nausea, vomiting or diarrhea that aren’t related to corona virus such as pregnancy, IBS, gluten intolerance, or even chronic migraines. People shouldn’t need to disclose they’re in they early days of pregnancy but otherwise healthy to a symptom responder because the app is too binary.
Easy to use.
Not sure why people have rated it as a 1 star. I’m assuming they didn’t read their emails or follow directions correctly. Their employer should had emailed them or sent them directions to register. I downloaded this yesterday, got an email to register today, and was able to navigate through the app easily. The app is very straightforward. You can even set a reminder to screen your symptoms at any time you would like.
Only asks about personal physical symptoms
This app is basically just a way for UHG to act like they’re taking precautions while inexplicably and prematurely mandating our return to the office. There are no questions about recently being at a large gathering or in close contact with someone who’s exhibited symptoms, tested positive, or is awaiting covid test results. You have to answer those questions to do any other basic thing these days, but not go to the office with a bunch of strangers?
Also there’s no way to set the reminders for only your office days.
This app and UHG’s overall return to work plan are woefully inadequate.
