Anyone with a modicum of camera skills can download this app and make some easy money. If you are in a larger city, the opportunities will be greater than if you live in a more suburban or rural environment. One benefit of the obscurity of this app is that the small number of users provides you with certain leverage to get more money per gig in cases where the job is more out of the way that normal. A vast majority of the jobs are pretty easy all things considered and ProxyPics provides well crafted infographics/guidelines for each type of assignment found within the app. The chat representatives are very responsive, kind, and understanding. Another benefit of it being a small company is the hands on approach that even employees on the executive level take on. I have had the AVP of Operations (David Burns-Weese) personally reach out via email to ask about taking jobs on the outer edges of my 30 mile radius and have experienced nothing but kindness in all correspondence. You should download this app if you need a side-gig to make money when you are bored, but don't expect to make it a full time arrangement unless you live in a very busy and saturated urban area.

Overall this is a really good app. The recent changes made to the landscape audits have made a world of difference. To be very picky, I would like to see all needed photos in one spot rather than the dumpster, ADA parking, and loading dock photos being buried in the questionnaire section. As for residential, the app is super straight forward. I would like to see the button to take a photo higher up rather than needing to scroll below the instructions on how to take a photo. The last change I would love to see is sound alerts when a new order is available. At the moment, I have to be looking at my phone or else I miss orders. Again, this is me being picky. I appreciate the online chat function, but most of all, I appreciate that I have always been able to reach Liza via email or phone when a question has popped up even when I have reached out after her business hours (I am in a different time zone). Liza is always very helpful, friendly, and personable. I feel supported and appreciated. I always prioritize my workload based on the ease of working with a company and how they treat me, Proxy Pics is at the top.

I really can’t say enough about this app. It’s awesome. Gives you the freedom to take work when you want to and not when you don’t. If you’re gonna be going somewhere a little far from home, you can always change your Location in the app and make extra money while you’re there or on your way home. The app practically does the job for you. All you have to do is follow instructions and the ProxyPics team is incredible. They are supportive and communicate well. They have the street team people taking photos, best interest at heart as well as their clients. Just awesome people, a family, although we never meet. Sometimes the jobs are small and fast and sometimes they’re a little bigger. And pay more but either way, it’s so nice to have the option to be able to make a few extra bucks. When times are so tough right now with most people have to do something extra in this gig is perfect! I was an Uber and Lyft driver and no longer felt safe or compensated for my time and this is definitely a game changer! I’m incredibly grateful

I am a marine life photographer with images published in parts of the EU. I stubbled upon this app by chance and figure why not make extra money taking photos as I travel. My first assignment I struggled a little with the interface. Mainly operator error to be honest. But after I narrowly completed the assignment to which I had some challenges given the assignment task and the lack of experience doing this side of photography. I learned all I needed to become advanced at this line of work with in the first assignment. Follow through with the app guidance and you won’t fail. It’s very insightful and gives the information you need. The last thing that I would like to mention is regarding service request. It may take time for you to get a response but when you do the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They were able to handle my uploading issues and submit the assignment for me. It only takes a few days to receive payout. If you’re looking for something to do to make some extra money get this app.

So far the jobs have been pretty straight forward and not hard to complete. The jobs have had detailed instructions and picture examples so that you know what they need and what is expected. Which makes the job that much go so much smoother. I am excited to do more jobs and hopefully they will go just as smoothly. The only issue I had was having 2 cops pull up to me in the parking lot while I was taking the a bunch of pictures of a bank at 1AM! I was worried because I felt like I was doing something wrong and being shady. But I definitely wasn’t I was just taking pictures as required. I was afraid for a min before the cop said he takes drone pictures so he understood what I was talking about! It would be nice to have a badge or authorization in the APP that could be shown for situations like that. That would have been helpful if the cop had not been so chill and know what I was talking about. Unless there is something like that and I didn’t realize it. Either way everything worked out ok and I finished the job and the cop went on his way! Look forward to more jobs in the future!Katie’s

This app is the future. I’ve completed my first assignment for $20. I have also seen other assignments paying over $40. It took 5 minutes and all I had to do was drive to the assigned property, take 6 pictures, and answer 10 questions about the property. If you’re looking to make extra money, this is one great way. You can easily make $20 or more in 5 minutes which is equal to $240 an hour if you do the math. If there were more assignments on the app, you could even make a GREAT living. If you work an hourly job, you know how valuable $20 in 5 minutes really is. Only downside is that I need more assignments haha!! No problems at all so far. Customer service has also been very helpful when I had issues with my background check and onboarding. They are real people who send emails and communicate when needed. Thank you guys. This is truly the future. Especially when so many people are either jobless or barely making ends meet. Great useful app.

I’ve been doing photo audits for ProxyPics main competition since it’s launch in 2016 i believe. I won’t mention their name because they still owe me money, and have a tendency to block people who complain about the service. ProxyPics is far and away superior in every way. The app itself works. It’s not buggy or broken in any way so far as I can tell. The quality of the work has been much better. Payment has been effortless. The interaction with the chat function has been pleasant. The response has always been professional and helpful. One thing I really like is the messages that the company puts out frequently. They are informative and helpful to me. I’ve just started with ProxyPics and am thoroughly impressed. It very easy to use and understand. It pays well. I would recommend it to anyone looking to make a few extra bucks. And to the companies out there looking for this type of service, I would choose ProxyPics over any other company.

Great app and staff! Please fix the notifications on the app. No sound when jobs are available. I have to be actively looking at my phone or I don’t see the job in time IPhone 13 Pro Max. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no change. App glitches on large jobs and won’t let me scroll down to answer questions or add photos. I restarted the app and get stuck on the main screen for the job and it’s just frozen. Then while doing a scan it kept losing its place and relocating. Took me twice as long to do these inspections and I had to get links sent to me to upload photos. Also ran my battery down on my phone and I barely got enough charged up to do these inspections next inspection. Please fix the app to allow me to add my own photos without having to upload one by one and scroll through each room to get to the right room.

First off, I’ll start by saying this, if you looking for some extra bucks here and there look further, because I’ve tried quite a few different apps that are similar to this and ProxyPics by far pays out the highest. Reason being is that you will be going to be taking a lot more photos. That’s the only reason I give ProxyPics a five star rating. Now if you’re looking for consistent work and you live in the Long Island New York area I hate to rain on your parade, but work is virtually nonexistent in this area for reasons unbeknownst to me. Why you may ask? You’re guess is as good as mine. You think that given the close proximity to the city there would be an over abundance of work, but alas, there is not. You’re lucky to get Maybe 2 to 4 jobs a month that is, of course if someone else on the app hasn’t already snatched it. Long story short great at good pay but not enough clientele.

I’ve done quite a few projects for this app and have had an overall good experience. The staff are responsive and you can figure out which jobs pay enough for time. You will spend on them some people probably like certain projects better than others. There is a map where you can check for additional products and email the team to get them which is helpful because trying to snag projects when they pop up can be pretty difficult. You basically have to have the app already open and instantly accept it or you will get beat. At least in my area that has been my experience over the past several months and the reason why I haven’t done a lot less work for them. The past few months, I would suggest the team that after photographers have worked for a while. Maybe they can get a couple second advantage on viewing the projects or something else that would motivate us to keep going.
