PSWD is the most comprehensive strong random password generator on iOS and macOS. It is written using Swift programming language. Features of PSWD: • Full English localization • Generates passwords with a length of up to 128 characters using any combination of characters • Has the ability to add separator characters at predetermined intervals • Has the ability to generate phonetic passwords following a consonant-vowel order, resulting in better readable passwords • Generates multiple passwords very fast and with ease • Can save and load password presets for easy configuration • Calculates entropy and strength information for a password preset in real time • Has iCloud sync for app configuration and state • Can share or copy with one tap • Can generate passwords without even opening PSWD, using Shortcuts app • Includes detailed VoiceOver design for better accessibility support • Includes Dark Mode support PSWD works completely locally on your device. It does not collect, store or transmit any data you enter into it, or it itself generates. It is a sandboxed app and respects the privacy of its users with utmost importance.

Works fast, very EASY, and quick access on the menu bar. No clutter, frills, ads, or data collection. Good privacy and security. Works with Dark Mode. Nice to have a PW solution for sites/apps that are picky or don't save automatically. My favorite feature? From ANY app there is a keyboard shortcut that will generate a secure password and then can be CTRL-V (pasted) right into the field. Super convenient! Nice to see a free app of such high quality. The in-app purchases are a donation to the developer which was well earned. Thanks!

Impressive program that has almost every variable desired. It’s well-designed, highly customizable and fast too. This is too good to be free, and now there's a tip jar hiding in the "i" button. The author is very responsive to feedback and has added many of my suggestions. UPDATE: I've suggested adding phonetic passwords that can be roughly pronounced but are not words, with separators like hyphens and commas. Useful when a business requires vocalizing a special password, or secret question. That's a lot easier than pronouncing every letter. Thank you for listening!

I have added the ability to create passwords that follow a consonant-vowel phonetic order with version 1.3. The passwords will have no meaningful words but they seem to be easier to spell with this configuration.

I have added the ability to create passwords that follow a consonant-vowel phonetic order with version 1.3. The passwords will have no meaningful words but they seem to be easier to spell with this configuration.

I keep this one handy. If a Safari does not generate a password then I just generate, copy, paste and I'm done!. Then I goto Safari>Settings>Passwords to create a new saved login, paste the password, and now I'm supper done! I think Apple should take this and make it a part of the OS as not all websites are configured so that the browers recognize all the information needed to save the info in Keychain. Make passwords easy to make and save! Until then I keep this workflow and app!!!

This app is great. You are in control of how your password is generated. If it would be one suggestion for improvement it would be to allow user to eliminate any given special character. Some sites do not allow certain characters and ‘it’ invariably shows up in the password. This encourages the user to substitute something for the character in the password rendering it no longer ‘random’.

Hi, you can already exclude any character in addition to the ambiguous characters when you edit the password configuration.
