Unwanted items, missing items; gotta drive to Publix now anyways

I was extremely skeptical to have someone do my grocery shopping for me (due to Coronavirus) and not have any issues. I’m not too thrilled to say that I wasn’t proven wrong in that regard. I paid for 24 cans of soda and the guy shows up with (3) 2 liters instead. I make a lunch to bring to work with a can soda everyday because the state considers me essential...the heck am I going to do with a frigin 2 liter?? Never got a call or text telling me I’m SOL and not getting what I paid for. So now, after paying fees and tips totaling almost what I make an hour, I get the Publix pleasure of driving back to the store (without a receipt because I wasn’t given one) and risk exposure to the public and contracting the deadly virus. If you’re going to have to risk exposure and possibly contracting the Coronavirus, you might as well save an hour’s worth of wages and go do it yourself. I don’t know about you, but it makes me aggravated to think I worked for an hour just to pay fees and tips to someone for literally no reason. To whom ever is reading this, take my advice; don't use this service! ***BUYER BEWARE***

Items missing

This app is pretty easy to use despite the increase in people looking for on line shopping and delivery alternatives these days. I have used this about 6 times in the past few weeks. Most of the shoppers will make suitable replacements when something isn’t available...which is happening a lot right now. My big concern is that it seems like my last few orders, something that I have paid for isn’t being delivered. I get that this may happen occasionally but my order today was missing the pack of paper towels that was part of my order. I can’t imagine how that got overlooked in the trunk of the delivery drivers car. So far (not for this delivery yet) the customer service has reimbursed me a credit if this happens, but it is frustrating none the less if you are counting on a product that you need. Just my thoughts. I know these workers are putting themselves at risk so my family and I can stay at home.

Let me share my experience of getting no groceries

I placed an order today - about $80 in groceries. While I was pleasantly surprised with the fee structure and ordering process - that’s about where my approval stopped with this. As my order delivery time approached, I got an email telling me that my order is delayed. The new estimate time was sent. That time came and passed. I waited 30 min after the new estimated delivery time and my order said it was still in the store . I finally called customer service - and the customer service rep apologized and offered me a free delivery on my next order. When I explained to her that offering me a discount if I should choose to spend more money with them doesn’t rectify the situation. I asked her to go ahead and refund my order since she couldn’t give me an estimate on delivery and had no details on the status of my order.

The net result was 3 hours later - no food and waiting 7 days for the credit back to my card.

This will be the first and last time I order with them. Next time I’ll just drive to Publix and save myself the wasted time.
