Okay

Compared taking my own pulse to the checking and there were only just a few beats different. Making exception for constant change of pulse I feel this app does a pretty great job of pulse measurement. However from what I understood it could also measure your blood pressure (which I was really wondering how that could be done anyway.) but no readings came up for that. All in all, I am not going pay 90 dollars a year for an app when I know how to measure my own pulse rate. Probably a great app for those not in the medical field.

Just Why

I was hoping for a more accurate way to check my pulse and saw the ad on a quality workout app (free might I add) and went in with low expectations to this. Sure enough my expectations were met in a glorious fashion as I flipped through the introductory messages of the minimal features this app seemingly provides. Then came the message for the free trial and afterwards an $89 yearly payment. Not only is that an incredibly short trial but it’s also an incredible ripoff. I doubt that I would’ve been able to successfully cancel the trial if I had been so bold as to sign up but alas, I just deleted the app instead. Checking my pulse with my neck seems cheaper thank you.

Too costly

I respect the innovation and I want to start with saying that I haven’t tried it. I just wanted to convey the fact that there are sophisticated equipments which are pretty cheap that can measure your blood pressure and pulse rate. I have a concern with the business idea of using a phone to measure the same. How accurate is this ?? Do you really feel this is better than a $30 monitor I can pick up in Walgreens ?
I think we need to draw a line somewhere.
