PULSEpx - Photography 12+

This app ignited my love of photography again. Ever since twenty20 died, there hasn’t been a good app to do photography contests. The interface is simple and easy to use, the skill system to make sure that you’re always competing against photographers of your level is awesome, and overall it’s just a great experience would highly recommend.

I have been participating fairly in all the competitions hosted by the PLUSEpx team using the account “kyawkyaw0123”. I exchanged my earned 2000 coins for a $20 gift card, but it didn’t arrive immediately. After consulting ChatGPT, I was informed to wait 5 to 7 days. While continuing to participate in their competitions, I waited for my reward. However, on September 22, 2024, instead of receiving the $20 gift card via email, my account was banned without any explanation. I was shocked because I had not violated any of their stated terms and conditions. When I reached out to the PLUSEpx team, I received no response. This is a clear example of unethical behavior and a gross violation of consumer rights. I am genuinely surprised that Apple Store allows such a fraudulent app on its platform without proper vetting. I kindly request that the relevant authorities take appropriate action. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I will admit that I don’t understand the long term benefits of using this app. I’m a longtime user of 500px, where you can present your portfolio and get followers and likes and it links back to your professional site. In comparison, PULSEpx feels “cute.” Like, awe you’re trying to be something but not quite making it. There is more opportunity to win tiny amounts of prize money but even then it’s split between multiple people. I won first place and got a whopping $6 because I didn’t realize the first place prize was split between ten winners. And I don’t understand the growth opportunities. No one can follow you, there are no links to your professional work. What is the point besides getting a few pennies a day in prize money? I genuinely don’t understand and maybe I’m missing something.
