Puma is a cutting edge browser focused on making new crypto protocols and LLMs easy to discover and use on your mobile phone. Private by design.

We started with the idea of a privacy-first browser with built-in micropayments (via the Interledger Protocol) and have since added support for identity (HNS, ENS; Unstoppable Domains in testing) and storage (IPFS; Arweave in testing). Our next steps include wallets for main chains and experiments with GPT/LLMs and gaming.

OpenAI and ChatGTP preview
The newest version includes first integration of OpenAI APIs that allow you to summarize content of the pages you're reading. For now it requires to add your own OpenAI api key, but we'll figure out a way to remove that requirement later this year.

Advertising-driven models have corrupted the web surfing experience into a snooping, clickbait-driven pop-up factory. Puma Browser forges a better path: we offer talented content creators independence through micro-payments and Web Monetization while giving users a sleek, private, and distraction-free browsing experience.

Take ownership of your online activity from big corporations. Select a default search engine you love most and perform à la carte searches from today’s top sites:

• DuckDuckGo: simple, private search with contextual rather than personalized ads. Puma Browser’s default.

• Ecosia: go green while you surf! One tree gets planted for about every 45 searches.

• Google: available for those who want it.

• Twitter: search trends, hashtags, and topics that are happening and being discussed by the world right now.

• Wikipedia: the free online encyclopedia built and nurtured by volunteers around the world and hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation.

Reggie Saito ,

I love this browser. I would use it as my daily driver, but many websites I visit do not appear to support it. They tell me it is outdated and to use Safari or Chrome instead. Please fix this issue and I will rate this 5 stars!

new problem

every time i turn off the Group Tabs feature, it turns itself back on as soon as i back out of that settings page.

same when i turn off Inactive Tabs.

the Group Tabs feature doesn't anticipate me well, and i can't find tabs that i have just opened a lot of the time, so i would like to be able to turn it off and for it to stay off, please.

Apologies we botched the update!
We submitted the fix to Apple and it will be rolled out as soon as they review it.
Update: the fix is out now, let us know if you have any questions! support@pumabrowser.com

App QUICKLY crashes. (13.4.1 ipad 6th Gen)
Won’t open at all. Vital research tabs LOST till better update.

After prior update, I wrote a review on how my ipad app crashes, begging for emergency app update.

I was sent an email. I replied.

App was updated, an email telling me iPad crashes were addressed.

So I updated. .....Still crashes.

Because of course.

Details -> It doesn’t EVENTUALLY crash. It simply won’t open.
Immediate crash. If I machine-gun-speed tap, repetitively, the app to open it, it machine-gun closes immediately. We’re talking functionless, wholly.

And I’ve still got priceless research tabs open in that app. Completely highjacked and frozen in time. Which tabs have been open for many months. Again, very important irreplaceable tabs. And I need access.

Oh no! Mind sharing a bit more info about the device (we assume iPhone?) and do you happen to remember which site caused the crash? we're at support@pumabrowser.com or Discord chat.puma.tech.
Thank you!
