I got this because I wanted a Password Generator to work with alongside my Password Manager (RoboForm), which is a fine app, but it doesn’t have a Password Generator. When I need a new password, I now use PwGenerator to create one, then enter it in the new site, & RoboForm manages it for me, so they work very well in conjunction with each other, & both are free apps. My only complaint about PwGenerator is that I’d prefer to have the mixture of letters/digits/symbols (as shown above on this webpage) shown as a numerical count rather than a percentage. I would find it easier to just tell PwGenerator that I want 11 Caps, 4 lowercase, 3 symbols, & 2 numbers, for example. The table could be modified to show the number of glyphs still needed to attain the number I want in the total.

I have used the app for several years and have never had one problem with it. It just plain works! I like the randomness of the passwords and the ability to create a list of passwords. I use it in addition to LastPass. LastPass has a random password generator, and it is “ok”, but I find PWGenerator being easier to work with, then it is just a copy and paste into LastPass. An extra step I am happy to do. To the developers, I ask - please do not sell this app to some Hughe, heartless company that will only screw it up. Think about you happy and loyal customers - US, the little people, because it is US who benefit from this app and make you/your app a success. Keep up the great work!!!

I used Doorman for years. Now abandonware that won’t generate above 32 characters. This will go to 64 and has available controls I employ and enjoy. I’m also a long time user of LastPass and have been generating to collect there as long as I’ve been a customer. Perfect companion when you want more control than OS or LastPass generators offer. Now 99¢ US instead of free. BFD. Let the developer eat, too.

One of the simple things I love about this app is that I can type my own password in the space and it will tell me the strength of the password that way if I want to use my own i can create one and see how secure it is.

I have tested 4 different Password Gen apps - I like this one best. Can set percentages of Caps, Digits, Symbols etc in passwords. Also click on the “Symbols” name and a list opens, to Customize what symbols are allowed (different websites/etc give a list of symbols allowed). IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITY would be option to avoid ambiguous characters (e.g. 0O l1) for those time that copy paste is not an option

Wow, I thought this was stupid when I first got it. I never really played around with it.Well now that I've played around with it, I AM IMPRESSED. 1. You can change/remove symbols and customize it2. you can create a list of multiple passwords following the rules you've customized.3. It'll create WPA type of passwords4. It'll tell you the possible # of combinations for your settingsWow, this is a GREAT little app! I'll be installing it on all of my future computers and my clients.

I've been using PwGenerator for what seems like forever. Reliable and easy to use.

this thing is great. I had previously downloaded another password generator app and was not happy with it. I found this one and deleted the first one. am good to go now.

This app is fantastic. It has been one of my staple must-have apps for quite some time now. It works flawlessly and the developer maintains it regularly.

This latest update all but breaks the app for me due to the white text on light sections of the app (like where the password shows) in dark mode. This was NOT an issue until this update! Please stick to the hard and fast rule of "if it isn't broke, don't fix it!".

I am using strong passwords frequently and it is very useful to have a tool like this
