The all-new pym is here. Rebuilt from the ground up to make your daily photo habit effortless and joyful.
Tired of a camera roll filled with random screenshots and forgotten moments? pym helps you build a simple, rewarding daily photo habit. In just a minute a day, create a private visual journal that tells the real story of your life—a space for both daily recap and mindful reflection.
Rediscover the small joys and quiet moments that make up your days. pym is your personal space for daily gratitude. It’s not about performing for followers or getting the perfect shot; it’s about being present with your own memories. Capture a candid moment and add a quick note, your mood, or the location to enrich each photo and turn a simple picture into a meaningful diary entry.
Our philosophy is simple: your memories are yours alone. Enjoy a completely private, ad-free experience with no likes, no comments, and no social pressure. This is your personal sanctuary, a tool for quiet reflection, not social performance. Stop scrolling through other people's lives and start documenting the beauty in your own.
KEY FEATURES:
* A SIMPLE DAILY RITUAL: We send you one gentle, non-intrusive reminder each day. The goal isn’t a stressful streak, but a consistent, easy-to-maintain practice. Capturing your daily pic takes less than a minute, making it the perfect mindful habit that fits into any schedule.
* PRIVATE BY DESIGN: Your journal is for your eyes only. We believe in the power of a truly personal space, which is why there are no followers, public feeds, or data sharing. Your daily photos and thoughts are securely stored and never used for advertising. This is your private diary.
* ENRICH YOUR MEMORIES: A picture is worth a thousand words, but a little context makes it a story. Add notes to remember the details, tag your mood to track your feelings over time, and add a location to see where your life happens. These details make looking back a richer experience.
* SMARTFILL FOR MISSED DAYS: Life gets busy. We get it. The pressure to maintain a perfect streak can ruin a good habit. Smartfill lets you easily and honestly fill in a photo from a previous day using your camera roll's history. It’s about building a complete story, not a perfect record.
* YOUR YEAR ON A MAP: As you add location to your daily photos, your personal map comes to life. See your memories unfold geographically throughout the year and rediscover the places that defined your story. It’s a powerful, visual way to reflect on your journey.
THE ULTIMATE PAYOFF:
As the days turn into weeks and months, your consistent habit blossoms into something tangible. At the end of the year, your daily entries are automatically transformed into a beautifully designed, high-quality yearbook. Hold a year of your life in your hands—a stunning collection of happy moments, your personal *jaarboek*. Aan het einde van het jaar heb je een prachtig *fotoboek* that you'll cherish for a lifetime.
Stop scrolling and start collecting. Download pym today and begin the simple ritual of saving one photo a day. Your future self will thank you for the memories.

App worked great for a month or so, and then it randomly stopped notifying me. I have to delete & reinstall the app every couple of days for it to give me the notification. I also wish you could retake photos, because sometimes it comes out blurry or bad and it doesn’t let me take it again. But my main concern is that it is weird about notifying, and I don’t want to have to keep installing the app to try to get it to work.

Hi, Good to contact us. It could be a memory issue. Is there still enough free memory available?Or is 'Low Power Mode' activated in your iPhone settings because this could cause issues with notifications.Could you send us a supportmail from within the app (Menu->’Feedback and support'), with that we have all the relevant info (PYMversion, OS version, Device type). You can see this info in the prefixed mail. Till later,PYM
love this but I request a fix
Unknown101202
I love love love this app I downloaded it January 1st 2015 and I've done my best to take a picture every day and around may or June 2015 I decided i would use the comment section to journal my day and sometimes a lot goes on in my day and it would take up a lot of room and so I would be able to scroll and read ALL of what I wrote but I noticed after keeping up with the updates that I can't do that anymore when I click to read old captions it just cuts off what I wrote at the beginning so I know it's like a needle in a haystack to fix this one small request when most people don't even use the caption area but I would appreciate it so I can look back on old memories and reflect my past because that IS what the app is about after all:) thank you!! -regards j
Pay to backup?
J. S. P.
Been a reliable app over the years (I’ve been using since 2014). Hoping to order the books which is an amazing feature. But now charging to save to my own iCloud? Not a nice move…. The editing and other features make sense for a paid version. BeReel and others may seem like more meaningful competitors now.
Developer Response
Thank you for being a loyal user since 2014—we truly appreciate your support! We're excited that you're interested in ordering books and hope you’ll love that feature. Regarding iCloud backups, you can still save your backups to your own cloud, and PYM remains fully usable without a subscription. The additional features, including editing tools, are designed to enhance the experience for those who choose them. We always value feedback and are continuously working to make PYM even better.
New update is awful
Altonbay.
Once again, my daily notifications have stopped. My settings are correct. Been since the latest update. Moreover, I hate the update. The app was great. It did not need “fixing,” and the new format is awful. It wasn’t broken. Why did you fix it and make it worse???????
Developer Response
Sorry about that. Reminders: switch notifications off, close the app fully, reopen, then turn them back on. Old layout: open Display in the menu and pick Simple view. Still stuck? support@pymapp.com and we'll help.
Bigger update this time:
- Share a moment to your Instagram Story as a polaroid.
- Photo editing is back: straighten, contrast and Noir.
- Taking and saving a moment is near-instant now.
- Paying for a photo book with your bank app works.
We read every email. support@pymapp.com.
