Description
Pythagorean triples are a set of positive integers a, b, and c that fit the Pythagorean Theorem formula. By memorizing the basic set of Pythagorean triples you will be able to recognize and solve quickly numerous different math problems in geometry, pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus & calculus; simply by recognizing that one or or two of the legs of the triangle correspond to a Pythagorean Triple triangle.
By memorizing these triangles you will be able to avoid solving the Pythagorean Theorem formula for many problems, which can be time consuming during a time limited exam. You will find it to be a helpful complement to the Trigonometric Reference Triangles problems common in many mathematics courses.
This is especially important for finishing (and passing) school exams and the SAT's or the ACT college entrance exams.
