Q.ai: AI-Powered Investing 4+

The app is beautiful let’s not get that wrong very visually pleasing and delivers content in easy to understand ways. After all you shouldn’t need a Doctorate to invest and better your financial self.

The account opening process hit a few roadblocks but nothing major, I reattempted a few days later and the account was open from there I placed a sizable initial deposit, and my account went into pending review for official opening… and stayed that way for the last 14 days.

So I can’t comment much about usability but it seems like this app takes a, “hurry up and wait” approach. I’m concerned about the speed transactions such as buying and selling through the application if the account opening has taken this long.

The app is worthy of more exposure, it also is curious an app that’s been out this long from an industry leader is not marketed virtually at all. It makes me wonder if the app will discontinue support before it ever really gets off the ground.

This review has been a long time coming. And to the management at Q.ai, I’m sure you’re all well aware about how I feel. I decided to invest in this company because it looked like a safe, conservative, and legitimate investment platform to help me more effectively pay off my student loan debt. However, my experience was anything but easy. When the app changed interfaces, my account froze and I was unable to transfer money within my account or out of it. Naturally, I was concerned. When I reached out to the representative he said he would transfer my funds immediately and they would settle within 3 days. Communication was scarce and brief at first. This carried on for weeks, and he kept telling me to wait 3 more days. After escalating the issue to other managers, I was finally able to get my funds back and pay my student loans. It needed to be paid back in installments by the broker service for reasons nobody at the company understood. After they finally agreed manually withdraw my money, they promised to have it deposited within the week. 4 weeks went by until I saw my money. I won’t be investing anything anytime soon.

At first I really loved this app, I put money into this. I’ve been having login issues, support was in the process of trying to figure out why I can’t log in. We’ve tried a few things, so they were going to reach out to another team. Support team was pleasant and genuine but they have since quit all together replying to me now it’s been months I’ve tried to contact multiple times, but it seems they either quit trying, or don’t care. I didn’t invest a huge amount but it honestly feels like they just took my money and ran. I can’t see any of my information, but I still get monthly statements that I can’t access. I invested money and I can’t access anything at all.

To be fair I did play around quite a bit with the capabilities, and I signed up during the Beta. I’m just waiting for a response.
