Designed to work with our QC-series security DVRs, it allows you to check in on your property, business or loved ones anywhere, at any time. Receive instant e-mail alerts and see what’s happening with the swipe of a finger. It also allows you to take advantage of the iPad’s Retina display to show a level of detail never before available on a mobile device - allowing you to truly see what’s going on.

QC View HD takes full advantage of the iPad’s touch-screen technology to allow you to add or change video feeds, play back video or even control a pan-tilt-zoom camera with finger gestures. You can even take still images and save them on your iPad or send them as e-mail attachments.

With Q-See’s QC View HD on your iPad, you’ll never be out of touch.

Works great but the interface is horrible - beginner suggestion

This app is actually very functional, works great! But come on, who designed this thing? No labels but all cryptic icons that could have more than one meaning? Then to top it off, no tutorial the first time you start the program.

The first time you start up, you will be lost in what to do. Click the top icon that looks like a box with an arrow in it. Then click on the bottom icon that looks like a gear. This will take you to the settings menu to configure the connection to your security system. It will also more important take you to the "help" menu that will explain the program and interface meanings. You will need to study the "help" to figure out this program.

Let's hope Q-See is not finished with this program. It is very functional but it should not be this complicated to figure out.

Broke with iOS 12

I’d been using this app to check camera streams and thought the latest iOS update had broken it, BUT it turns out that an Ethernet cable went bad about the same time as the iOS upgrade so now I’m editing my original feedback to record complete satisfaction with this app and the shorter-named Q-See QC View app. I am encouraged to try Q-See’s newest line of cameras.

Our QC-858 has been motoring along for 3 years now. . .

Now fails once a week

This is the third week the live view stops working saying "timeout connection " usually happens during the weekend and comes back a few days after , very inconsistent and disappointing, used to be much more stable !
