WeCom is a business communication and office collaboration tool developed by Tencent WeChat Team. WeCom provides the same communication experience as WeChat and connects with WeChat in an all-round manner. It also offers productivity tools such as Event, Meeting, WeDoc and WeDrive, and flexible OA for effective business communication and management.
WeCom provides exclusive industry solutions for retail, education, government affairs, financial service and other industries, helping various industries to better serve users on WeChat. WeCom has been widely adopted by leading organizations, including Shiseido, Rainbow, P&G, Cartier, IKEA, PICC, Deppon Express, Changan Automobile, Shenzhen Mingde Experimental School, Affiliated High School of South China Normal University, Longhua District Education Bureau, and Shenzhen Taxation Bureau.

1.Provides a familiar communication environment to allow you to chat and work with colleagues efficiently
[Ease of Use] Creating a user-friendly messaging experience consistent with WeChat.

2.Connect with WeChat in an all-round manner
[Exchange Messages] Add WeChat users as contacts and offer services via private or group chats. The group can contain a maximum of 500 members.
[Contact Customers] Companies can view and manage the customers added by members.
[Customer Group] Companies can view and manage the customer groups of members. Various tools such as Anti-harassment, Restrict from Joining Group Chat, Restrict Group Name Change, and Deduplicate Group Members are available to serve customers efficiently.
[Customer Moments] Posts about activity information and product updates can be shared to Moments to interact with customers.
[Company Pay] Companies can receive money from or pay money to WeChat users or employees, and send Red Packets to employees.

3.Integrate multiple productivity tools and OA
[Event] Event invitations can be initiated and calendar can be shared with teams. Exchange and CalDav protocols are available.
[WeDoc] Documents and forms can be created individually or edited with colleagues. [WeDrive] A shared space where all changes of files sync in real time. You can always get the latest version.
[Meeting] Initiate and join online meetings anytime & anywhere. A maximum of 300 people can join the meeting.
[Live Video] Stable HD live videos that support screen sharing and PPT presentation. Viewers can send comments and start joint streaming.
[OA] Preset flexible and easy-to-use OA tools powered by Wecom, such as Attendance, Approvals, Reports, Announcement, Meeting, and Forum.

4.Open capabilities
[Retail Industry] With open APIs for Contact Customers, Customer Group, and Customer Moments, companies can better acquire, accumulate, manage and operate customers.
[Education Industry] Open APIs for Contact Parents, Education Bureau-School Interconnection, Parent-School features are available to meet the individual needs of Education Bureau and schools.
[Government Affair Industry] Open APIs for Contact Residents are available to meet the individual needs of government agencies.
[Office and Collaboration] Open APIs for Approvals, Attendance, Reports, Event, WeDoc, WeDrive, Meeting and Live Video, are available.

1.Contact Customers & Customer Group Contact
-Customers supports the display of customer count, new customers today, and
other key data on the workspace for a better understanding of customer data in a timely manner.
-Anti-harassment allows you to remove customers who send images. You can also add members to the whitelist, to whom the anti-harassment rules will not apply.
2.Customer Moments
-Members can share 3 posts with customers in Moments every day.

Ⅱ.Efficiency Tools and Basic Optimization

2.Attendance
-Reports can be exported on mobile phones. Managers can view attendance
details on their mobile phones.
-Real-Person Verification is added for punch via face recognition. The admin can enable the feature on demand to prevent a cheat.
3.WeDoc
-Forms can also be initiated in sheets, where the collected data are summarized automatically. Data from multiple forms can also be put into different sub-sheets, which can be summarized and analyzed conveniently in the sheets.
-Cell Insertion is updated. You can insert WeDocs and WeDrive files by searching file names, and insert the URLs to other sheets or cell ranges in cells.
-You can drag local files to sheets to upload them quickly to WeDrive and generate a URL.
-You can use the Card mode to view sheets, switch between lines easily, and modify the content.
4.Form
-Rules can be set for the questions in the forms that subsequent questions are displayed or hidden according to the selection results.
-You can associate forms with existing sheets.
-For multiple-choice questions, the count limit of options can be set and the number of options can be set precisely.
5.WeDrive
-You can view the information about views and downloads of the shared files in real time, attach WeCom business card, and expand customer relationships through file sharing.
-Loading is much quicker for online preview.
6.Viewer comments are supported for live replays, making the content more complete.

Great features

While there are more features available in the Chinese version of the app, I am really enjoying the feature I have access too. I look forward to future updates and learning more about it’s functionalities.

Overall it’s a great app for the team. The drive feature is great.
We do not know the difference between 报销,采购,费用 and think the options are duplicated and unnecessary.
Last we hope to have an English version.
