Description

Control Qmotion® award winning Automated Roller Shades, directly from your device. Operate shading as groups. Automated shades may be raised or lowered, moved to preset position, or even moved using touch control for finer adjustment.

This app connects with your Qube hardware device for an easy way to control the motorized shades in your home. Select which device to connect to, create one or more groups to put your shades in, and you’re ready to go!

iOS iPhones that you connect to this box may also be synced up with your QSync® device, so you only have to create a group once and you're able to use it on all devices that are connected.

Requires purchase and installation of the Qube control unit, which then must be connected to a network router. Currently this is designed to work only with Qadvanced with ZigBee HA1.2 (battery powered) and the Quadvanced Intelligent System (QIS) hardwired shades.

Unintuitive + Frustrating

Nearly impossible to navigate to the screen to add new devices. Furthermore, even when I get the page to successfully pop up, the sidebar doesn’t collapse and I end up having to try pressing the buttons with half of the screen covered with the useless sidebar. Incredibly frustrating and hard to use. The product itself is nice but the app, for as simple as it is, shouldn’t have these kinds of issues.

Battery issues

I used the app to setup blinds at a customers home. It drained my battery very quickly. Even after I was done my phone wasn't charging right and I thought it was broken. When I first plugged it in my phone was at 6% then it quickly drained to 1% while on the charger. The app was open but not currently scanning. After uninstalling the app my phone is now charging properly. I'm still going to the Apple Store just in case

Garbage

It should be 0 stars. The app is terrible, their support is terrible, the qmotion shades themselves are terrible, unreliable and of poor quality.
