  • NO Dishonesty here

To the Reviewers trying claim there's any "dishonesty" or misleading info because of the in-App purchase, it's spelled out CLEARLY in the App description. Try reading before leaving bad reviews & low ratings for an App next time. Now, to what you gain for adding the Pro Pack Features. If you have the need to crete codes on the fly & push them to Facebook/Twitter it's amazingly simple & accurate. You can even color them! I personally like being able to email the Scan History since I do a lot of testing in the field of QRs. Instead of copy-pasting into a text file, just email the History to myself & keep track there. Nice.If you don't need those features, it's still the fastest scanner & handles the smallest codes I've seen.

  • Serviceable, if dishonest.

While it certainly doesn't live up to the "best scanner" hyperbole the author surrounds it with, Qrafter is an adequate QR scanner. The scanning itself is on par with some of the better (not best) apps, but the UI unpleasantly mixes free and paid functionality, apparently hoping to annoy unsuspecting users into buying the upgrade when a feature refuses to activate.Even were the app to provide best-in-class scanning, the interface leans more toward crippleware than shareware, aiming to get users to upgrade through misdirection rather than giving them an honest sampler with the option for pro features. It deliberately muddles the line between free and paid features, rendering it's overall quality second in terms of one's lasting impression of the app.

  • Best qr program I've used

    M2Marknight

Qrafter has a really impressive scan speed, error compensation, and the paid version is more than worth the price if you want to create your own codes. I generally do my coloring in design programs, but after playing with the built in options , found them powerful and handy when I'm away from my laptop. I love the option to export both vector and PNG codes because I often end up using them in adobe illustrator layouts. Way better on all fronts than the 4 or 5 other QR apps I tried first. Hoping for a version that reads / writes other bar codes... Like the elusive IM barcode.

  • Crisp & clean, works like a dream!

In a QR space that is overcrowded with generic product this one stands head and shoulders above the rest!We too are app developers and can totally appreciate a first-class product. This app is as good as it gets in its field and I was happy to pay for the great product to remove the ads and support the on going development to make the product even better over time if that is even possible! I would have paid $10 for it if i had to it is that good! Rarely do you ever get to rave about someone else's product! This app is truly bursting with features & functions! My only wish list item is to add an output option for EPS for the section that lets us create & save custom QR codes! I'd give this app 6 stars if I could! I hope I run into the makers at a conference in the future so I can personally and congratulate them thank (or even better, hire them!) on a superb product! If only every other app was this good! Cheers!

  • Deja vu

I don't use this app frequently because useful QR codes a novel. Many link shortening services include QR codes. For the occasions when I do need to scan or edit one, Quafter is top-notch. As I read this update, however, it appears that some of the features I fiddled around with in the past (coloring codes, emailing…) are now only available with an in-app purchase.I can appreciate the need to monetize to support continued development. Maybe this speaks more to Apple than the developers, but it seems there should be a way to require in-app purchases for new users and leave features loyal users have paid for intact.

  • It just works

    whatagenda?

I have been using this app for a year with no problems. Very impressed with the simplicity, never glitches, and scans a wide array of codes from different countries as well. I was wondering if I should renew, so I looked at the other QR generator apps and after reading those reviews I’m sold on this one. I’ve never had some of the problems other people have. So, no need to change what has worked well for a year. Thank you app developers!
