QSR Inventory 4+

App is great for doing inventory however, there is a bug on iPhone 11’s for sure where it will stop my music from playing every time i scan something and there is a bug that makes my keyboard disappear and Im unable to type things in. Please fix soon!

I’ll list the pros and cons of this app.

Cons:
•App will randomly log you out after awhile, even if you’re in the middle of counting inventory.
•The default keyboard is soooo slow. Typing fast is impossible as it’ll start to miss letters.
•The camera barcode scanner is unreliable. There’s no feedback on why the barcode isn’t scanning. It should default to a number pad to enter the WRIN when scan was unsuccessful.
•The submit inventory button takes up the entirety of the bottom of the screen. Accidentally presses happen to often. Make it smaller or put it at the top of the screen in the header.
•there should be a button for the keypad, similar to the camera button.
•I can’t sort my past counts by time so if I click save but need to add to it, I have to either scan it or search for it all over again.

Pros:
•Being able to add to a count by just pressing the arrow keys saves a lot of time.
•Being able to completely skip entering it into the computer is nice.
•As bad as it is, it is nice being able to scan the barcodes with my camera.

Not many pros, but this app has potential. I hope they give the devs the budget to work on it more.

Hi and thank you for your feedback. Here are a few initial thoughts about the Pro's and Cons you reported. If these do not address the issues you are experiencing we would appreciate you submitting a support ticket so we can address any issues.

Cons:
The app is not supposed to log you out but there is a timer on counting and submitting of 2 hours before counts are considered old and discarded.
Would you be able to give us an example of when and what you are typing to experience slowness so we can test it?
Even though the submit button is large you can still add to the count and resubmit. Does that solve the issue?
The keyboard is available at any point that you must type in a number or letter. Is there a point when you needed it that the keyboard is not presented?
The app is meant to count in small batches so to re-lookup a number should be in a small number of items (10-20). We recommend counting in small batches to stay in real time with the perpetual inventory.

Pros:
We like that you can enter counts easily
Skip the computer to check your counts and
Scanning bar codes easily with your phone or Bluetooth scanner.

In other apps on my iPhone I have the option to tap the microphone icon in the bottom right of the screen. But on your QSR inventory app it doesn’t appear. As it may not seem to be a “needed” option, it would be greatly appreciated for your McDonalds clients because our walk in freezers are so unbearably cold at times and I wish I could just say how many of each case I’m inputting into the app, instead of having to keep my gloves off and type when my hands are already freezing. The app is perfect regardless of this. This is only a suggestion. Thank you for your time.
