Fills missing piece with Obsidian

I recently migrated to Obsidian, but have been frustrated at how difficult it is to add quick notes on the fly. I’ve hit dead ends with shortcuts and everything else I could think of. This app fills that missing piece well. I can now hit a single button and get my thoughts down instantly without fumbling around to get obsidian opened. I would love to see spellcheck enabled.

Works, under two conditions

I wish this would work seamlessly, but in all fairness this might have to do with the fact that the obsidian app apparently cannot run in the background on iOS. So, this works as longs as 1) you open the obsidian app after adding something. If you don’t, don’t expect any addition you made to appear on any other device syncing obsidian with your iPhone, 2) you don’t append to an existing file that has been modified on another device. If you do, the obsidian app will first get the state of your file before additions from this app are made, second, append your additions from this app, but third, overwrite those changes with whatever modified version of the file it finds in the online sync database. It seems this one could be fixed by waiting for the obsidian sync to complete before appending any content from this app. A few seconds delay would probably do the job.

Great App

My only current recommendation is to keep cleaning and describing the shortcuts, as well as adding an auto-checkmark function to the quick markdown list button. Otherwise, this app has been the only reliable way of easily and quickly importing notes to specific places in my vault.

I am curious to learn about what shortcuts you're talking about? Also regarding about auto-checkmark function if you're talking about checkboxes then the app already have it, you can find checkbox under send button. You can reach out to us from the app under Settings.
