Quickly view a calendar of the current month from the menu bar. Today's date is highlighted in the current system preference highlight color. The week starts on the day selected by the 'First day of week' system preference.
Use the left and right triangle buttons to view previous and following months. Turn the week numbers on and off with the toggle menu item.
Looks great in either light or dark mode.
To make sure Quick View Calendar runs every time you log in or restart your Mac, add it as a Login Item.
This version provides a setting to turn the week numbers on and off with a toggle menu item.

Now missing the Dashboard calender due to the recent update to Catalina, this app was sorely needed! Exactly what I needed for a quick reference, and since I'm used to using other OS's at home my natural instinct is to go towards the clock/notification area to find a calendar anyway!
Good, but needs some options
Good if all you want is a Calendar in your menu bar. If you want options, though, this doesn't have any. At the very least, an option to have the app launch automatically when rebooting the mac, or an option to launch the Calendar app would be nice.

Thanks for the feedback. You can add Quick View Calendar as a login item so it launches every time you restart your Mac: https://quickviewcalendar.com/#launch
Catalina took away Dashboard. The best feature of Dashboard was a quick swipe to see a calendar.
The "other" operation system opens a calendar when you click the clock in the system tray.
Thanks to Quick View Calendar, now MacOS does too. Thank you!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
