Double scrobbles

This app is good and I’ve used it for a couple years now. However recently it’s been double scrobbling EVERYTHING that I’ve been listening to on my desktop without fail. I even tried to follow the instructions in the FAQ to prevent double scribbles but the setting to disable playback information is no longer available on the new Music app for Mac. I will probably end up switching to a new app if this continues

Great update was a nice surprise

I’ve been using this app as my primary scrobbler for several years now. While the app mostly continued working, I had figured after a couple years without updates that the app was no longer in active development. I was positively surprised to see the recent update and I have to say the redesign is excellent. The app’s appearance is greatly improved and modern, and the background app refresh improvement is a very nice touch. I haven’t tested scrobbling non-library tracks yet but that is also a great feature. I recommend adding a tip jar to the app because it was the first thing I looked for when I saw the update—I would be happy to donate after years of use and this recent overhaul!

Low power mode issue and missing features unfortunately

I love this app and use it daily and I have unlimited scrobbles as well, unfortunately I’ve had issues since the new update on missing scrobbles from having my phone into low power mode. I’m sure this is because scrobbles now refresh in the background but I hope this is something fixed soon or at least optional for those who want to do it manually. Also it now seems as if there is no ability to drop tracks either. This is disappointing since I’m sure me and other users used this frequently when there is a period of time they don’t want to scrobble. Hopefully some of these features could be brought back and fixed because I love this app and don’t want to have to switch to another to keep track of my music!
