Quillo is a new, easy to use and time saving digital mobile platform designed to engage, inspire and educate organizations that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With a Quillo subscription (required), the app engages them in the organizational culture, connecting people with the “why” of what they are doing, providing a special focus on their personal well-being, inspiring them on how important they are to the people they support, drawing them closer to the organization they work for and engaging them in the mission. This engagement will lead to lower turnover, with a staff more focused on their job, more satisfied in making a difference and the impact they have on the people they support.
The Quillo app provides access to two exciting platforms:
#1: MyQuillo is Your Place to Learn, Discover, and Connect. Geared towards people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, MyQuillo provides a safe and positive environment to explore topics that matter to you. Exploring the video library of short videos (up to 3 minutes), you will hear perspectives, stories, ideas, and shared experiences from people around the country, including people with disabilities, family members, professionals, employers, community leaders, and more. Explore Collections on key topics, create Favorites Playlists, and manage your profile. A MyQuillo subscription allows users the ability to create Circles of Support, inviting trusted people in to share direct videos privately. Share updates, offer words of encouragement, and plan together to help people with disabilities build the life they want.
#2: Quillo Pro is geared towards direct support professionals (DSPs), provider agencies, and other disability professionals. The video library covers a variety of topics related to well-being, workforce retention, and words of appreciation for direct care staff. Watch short videos (up to 3 minutes), explore Collections on key topics, create Favorites Playlists, and manage your profile. Quillo Pro is available for provider agencies to purchase on behalf of their employees, offering portal training to upload and share your own personalized video messages.
