This App allows you to configure playback for best results, for example:
You should listen to the instructions the first two or three times you use the App. You won't need to listen to them after that.
If you have the time or are listening last thing at night, the long induction should be used for the first week or two, but you may be able to switch to the shorter induction after that as you will be becoming more used to the relaxation techniques.
If you have the time or are used to falling asleep during payback of the App, it may be beneficial to listen to the "main" section a couple of times. This can be hugely beneficial for the unconscious mind and therefore your success.
Many people fall asleep whilst using the App and appreciate the "waking" section. If, however you would like to use the App and continue into sleep, toggle the "awaken" control to "off"

Learned to love this app
In spite of the issues with this app (the volume increase, mainly, and that pop) I really like this app. I have always had difficulty turning off all the thoughts trying to sleep, even as a child. This app never fails to put me to sleep, even with the louder second section. I also hated the background music at first and found it horribly distracting, and still fell asleep! After approximately a month, listening every night at bedtime, I have quit smoking. I cut back and am using nicotine replacement still, but feel determined that this time the quit will stick. I love how you can hear and feel the compassion in Andrew's wonderful voice and positive suggestions. It now feels like listening to a supportive friend who only has your best interest at heart and wants you to succeed. I downloaded other of his apps because I enjoyed the relaxation and sleep induced by this one.
My favorite thing is the option settings!!! You can stay asleep or wake up, long or short induction, or repeat the sequence multiple times!

Thank you for the updates. There is still the issue of the louder second portion. Still has the "pop," too. At first I thought these issue were fixed, but I must have fallen asleep earlier because when I don't fall asleep, I still hear a difference. Still love the app, but do wish this was fixed. (It's worse in the "confidence" app.)
App stopped working
I love this app and listen to it every night. A few days ago it stopped working, and will not play. Please help!
I have several of Andrew's other programs and like them very much so i was excited to give this one a try. My chief complaints are: (1) at the end of the induction/beginning, there is a loud audible "pop" as it transfers to the next section. It is very jarring and tosses me out of the relaxed state I just got into. (2) The volume on the second part of the recording is much higher than the first, so even if I can get calm after the "pop" - I'm awakened again because the voice volume is set way too high compared to the first.
I'd like to give this one a good review but haven't been able to get past the first 15 minutes to give it a thorough try. Please fix this and send out as an update.
