We’re innovating on the played-out crossword game genre, sprinkling in a new level of strategy, adding dash of deviousness, and banishing the power-ups and pay-to-win shenanigans. This free word game is similar to other crossword/word connections games, but players steal each other’s tiles in a tug-of-war-meets-crossword-meets-chess-style game. Make your words safe by playing on a padlock “safe” square or by playing all 7 of your tiles in one move.

So much potential

One of my friends told me about Qwibble and I downloaded it. It has so much potential. It was so much fun playing with my friends (I lost each game) and I really did enjoy it. However, some bugs caused it to be more difficult than I’d like. I’d love to share these bugs, but I haven’t found a way to contact the Devs.

Hi qwerty owner - sorry for the delay and thanks for your feedback. We've been hard at work refining the game to get it to where we want it to be. We fully agree that the game isn't quite there yet, so your patience is appreciated as we continue to roll out the updates. Software development is a very, VERY slow process... Hopefully today's release (1.0.3 - heading your way soon!) will help with some of the issues you're experiencing.

What a fun game!

I’m so glad that I can now invite friends to play this game - although I do sometimes still love the solo/practice mode, we have been having a lot of fun learning the winning tactics of Qwibble. Overall, I’d say that it is a great new scrabble-like game that is much more dynamic and interesting!

A New Classic Wordgame

This crossword game is a breath of fresh air! Simple and clean design. Interesting and challenging strategic twist on Scrabble and Words with Friends. I love that you have to think several moves ahead and protect the big-point letters and words while looking for ways to steal points from your opponent. Great game!
