R-TEC Automation by Rowley is an easy to use interface used to configure and control motorized window shades.

Schedule your shades to open close automatically and never lift a finger again. Override your shades with your remote control anytime.

Whether you are at home or away control your shades via the animated interface on your smartphone. Bi-directional communication allows you to visualize the exact positioning of your internal and external shades while also allowing you to check the battery health of your wirefree motors. Getting started is simple via the easy to follow setup wizard. Create rooms, set timers & scenes for optimum comfort and allow R-TEC Automation by Rowley to take control. Installers can also take advantage of the convenient remote free setup to efficiently set motor limits with their smart phone.

This application requires the Pulse Hub – available from Rowley

- Each Pulse Hub supports up to 30 motorized window shades
- Create up to 20 Rooms, Scenes and timers
- Set up, activate and deactivate timers
- Create Scenes to open multiple shades in different positions.
- Create multiple locations (up to 5) and add Pulse hubs (up to 5)
- Shade Control provides motor status including-
-Operate motors to any position desired -Up, down, stop and move to position control
-Animation and end position status provided through 2 way feedback from motors.
-Battery health for Wirefree rechargeable motors

We are always making changes and improvements to the R-TEC Automation® App.

In this update we have focused on improved hub pairing experience making it even easier to pair your R-TEC Hub to the R-TEC Automation® App.

Another major improvement is there are 3 dedicated help sections to help you through some common issues that may occur, with hub pairing for problematic networks as well as what to do if your shade is offline or out of range.

Other improvements are:

Dynamic help pop up for specific issues that relate to your system.
Pair shade immediately after pairing a Hub.
After pairing a shade, the device screen will open for that device so you can test it.
Shade Signal Strength is now in 4 levels with color-coded text rather than icons.
New Battery icons with 4 Battery levels instead of 3.
Move hubs from one location to another.
Device Screen update: Shade size is now more proportional to your screen.
Updated the Control button location, so they are easier to operate.
Updated some still Shade pairing images with animations.
Minor changes to headers and labels throughout the app.
Sunrise/sunset offset timers now support hours.
iPhone 12 Screen issue resolved.

Decent but needs firmware update process

It’s great when it works. Blinds constantly blip out and stop working randomly though. Pretty sure the hub and blinds need firmware updates but the app provides NO way to trigger them. Please note this is a white label version of the Pulse 2 app.
